About this house rental
Welcome to our happy place! This is our family home (not really a "rental property").
About the location:
We are located in the quiet end of sea isle (Townsends Inlet). You can walk everywhere- the path to the beach is literally 3 steps from the house, and an ice cream parlor, and playground are both close by.
About the house:
4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The living space separates the third floor and first floor, which are identical; both have two bedrooms and a full bath. The front master bedroom on each floor has its own deck and amazing views of the beach and waves. The middle floor is the living space (also with it's own deck) and you can see the ocean from everywhere. The living space has an entertainment system (wifi/dvd player/basic cable/apple tv), ice machine, margaritaville blender (comes with our proprietary margarita recipe and an NDA), and a huge kitchen table with room for 8 plus kids (it is large). There is a grill on the deck (worth noting, the lighting function on the grill is a little messed up, you might need to use matches... this is probably over disclosure, but you should know the grill isn't superb). Like many in Sea Isle, the home is a duplex, and it occupies the entire beachfront half of the house (it is a back-to-front property, not a side-by-side); enjoy the privacy! My wife is a cook, so everything else you'd want in a kitchen is here (good knives, lobster pots, coffee maker and drip coffee maker/filters, etc). We are happy to leave all the things in the house that are annoying to pack (beach chairs/beach toys/paper towels/napkins/toilet paper/salt/pepper/bathing suits). Just kidding about bathing suits, that would be gross. We’ve recently updated the entire interior (new kitchen, new bathrooms). In the last 5 years, we’ve added brand new siding, renovated the outside shower, painted all of the rooms, and put in new wood floors

We are a family of 5, and live in the Philadelphia area. We love the beach.
Our favorite things about the house:
1) Relaxing on the deck. You can see everything (180+ degrees) from the deck on every floor, and there is no bad time to be out there (sunrise over the ocean, sunset over the bay, nap time after a margarita...)
2) Easy beach access (with kids or with a cooler). Not sure you could have a shorter walk to the beach.
3) No driving necessary. Sunset Pier for omelets, Scoops for ice cream and Hank Sauce for take-out. If you're looking for something more exciting, restaurants and bars are 20-35 blocks away, and $2 Jitney rides go till 4am.
4) Waking up to the ocean - In the front two bedrooms, the first thing you'll see when you wake up is the morning is the waves crashing.

This property is exactly as advertised... right on the beach, beautiful views, excellent layout, quiet location yet walking distance to restaurants, ice cream, etc. Maura was very responsive and proactive in her communication with us, including great recommendations for restaurants, carry out, ice cream, activities. The town center and boardwalk area have great summer activities; Tuesday Farmers Market, shopping, outdoor pickleball, Saturday evening live music. But the main attraction is the beach and ocean; one highlight being the appearance of dolphins off the shore, jumping and frolicking on two different days... very cool. Finally, the kitchen set up is fantastic... large frig, plus a separate ice maker and stand alone beverage frig, island counter plus a nice sized dining table for eating as a group and playing games... with a direct view of the beach/ocean out the large sliding doors & windows. As you can tell, we enjoyed a wonder week.

Great property right on beach path. Home was clean and Chris excellent with communication, recommendations etc. layout of house worked great for our group. Main floor with kitchen is separate from bedroom floors so I didn’t feel like I would wake the house when I got up early!
