From the driveway ground level there is an outside covered stairway to the second level front door and small deck area. From the second level back deck there is a stairway down to the back yard. Check in was great. Host was very accommodating. She had all the kitchen utensils we needed. Place was very clean. Best sleep i have gotten in years, the beds are all comfortable. Very private with views.

The property was clean and beautiful in a nice quiet neighborhood close to the ocean. Unfortunately, we were not aware that the host lived on sight and in the garage bottom floor of the 3 story house. When we checked in at 5 pm, the host (who I thought was the cleaning lady) was not ready for us but stated that because it was 5 pm we can check in--i did state that we had groceries to put in the refrigerator). the initial contact was awkward and uncomfortable because of the lack of disclosure of the host living in the property. We had 3 small children and the host complained of the noise level , which was within the time frame well before 10 pm--we decided to leave after the host told us to "control our chidlren" . We felt it would be better to leave the premises and chose to drive home only staying for one night.

Plenty of seating and sleeping accommodations for our large family gathering. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was nicely laid out for us to cook and serve. living room was great for all of us to sit and play games. The kids had a nice walk to the beach which is beautiful. My only suggestion is to have a door on the main bedroom bathroom. We made it work. We enjoyed our weekend stay very much!

First time Vrbo user, very pleased with all aspects of this property. Lovely kitchen, my bed was comfortable, everything worked well, the property manager was prompt and very helpful. We had no issues whatsoever. Highly recommend. In fact, we've talked about coming back next year and staying in the same location! Gold Beach is a sweet little community, very relaxing stay there. The coastline is gorgeous!

We were 8 and had plenty of room. 6 king size beds 2 1/2 bath. Large kitchen and dinner table for 10. You can see the beach but it is a long walk. We are from the east coast and had to adjust to a cool, very windy beach but we had fun hunting for star fish and crabs.

My family and our dog had the pleasure of visiting for a week. This place was so comfy! From the beds to the couches. We all had plenty of space to gather. The kitchen had all the amenities needed to prepare and enjoy meals. The deck area has an amazing view of the ocean. Overall we were very pleased with the Flip Flop Inn!

This house does accommodate a large group (6-12) fairly well. Lots of room and good gathering areas. However, there is a lot of “stuff” everywhere. Too many couches and chairs in the living room. People stumble around. The place need some TLC. Outdated and minor repairs need throughout the whole house. Lawn chairs around a formal dinning room table. Is odd. Most of towel rods are falling out of the wall. All the fan switch knobs are missing. Refrigerator handle is busted off. Three windows are broken. Just to mention a few things. Hot tub is in need of service and cleaning. No actual view of the water unless you go upstairs and stand in the corner window. A little shrub and tree trimming would give an incredible view from the main floor deck and upstairs If monies where put back into the place for updates and repairs , it would be a great price. As it sits now, this place is over priced by 50%.

This house was just right for my family. Check-in was easy and the host, Aimee, was responsive to my questions. The home was fully equipped with everything we needed. The furniture was outdated, however, it was very comfortable. I enjoy having windows open as I like a breeze in the house, however, very few windows had screens on them. I would recommend this house, especially for groups.

House in general worked out well for us. A few of the dimmer knobs for light s or fans were missing as well as a couple of key window screens but all in all the house was pretty good. This was a nice house with a well equipped kitchen, lots of bed options and good amenities. The hot tub was great and we really enjoyed sitting out on the deck. The check in/check out process is a bit unusual as you have to call the owner and they do not use the lockbox on the door, but the owner is perfectly nice so it didn't bother us. We absolutely LOVED the jetboat rides up the river and found a couple nice restaurants in the area. Overall, a nice stay. :-)

The property is in need of an overhaul. The furnishings in the dining and living room are old and uncomfortable, with several of the recliners no longer functioning, and and the cane backing of the dining room chairs blown out. The dining chairs are also quite low, and on wheels, which made it difficult for some of the members of our party to get in and out of them easily. The master bedroom has a king and an queen, and can sleep 4, but the doors have been removed from the bathroom and the toilet room, making it very awkward to share the space. There is a toilet room down the hall, but using that was disturbing to the people sleeping on the upstairs landing. If you are sensitive to chemical smells, this is not the property for you. The scented garbage bags and cleaning products create a miasma in the house which affected several of our group. Yay Benadryl!

Enjoyed the location and the hot tub. The house is in rather bad disrepair, towel holders hanging off the wall, door conspicuously missing from master bathroom, thick dust on shelving and ceiling fans and under the couch (well, much more than dust down there), crazy stains on the carpeting. Actually, it was so bad I didn't worry at all about my young kids damaging or dirtying the house, so in this case it was fine for me. I did question what the rather high cleaning fee was used for though. Had I been here as an adult vacation with just my wife I would have been more disappointed with these things, but this was the perfect place for this particular family trip.

House is not particularly kid friendly and has very steep stairs to get in and also inside. Older adults have trouble getting in and out. The kitchen could use some better fry pans. Overall it was fine and we enjoyed our stay. It is easy to get to the beach.

The property was in a good location for our family reunion on the south coast of Oregon. beautiful scenery along Boardman Scenic drive south to Brookings. Open kitchen was nice. Hot tub was a bonus. It needs some TLC; refrigerator door handle was off, lamp missing a light bulb, furniture needs to be replaced i.e. better kitchen chairs, futon upstairs is in need of repair when pulled out for sleeping.

the owner changed check in and check out times, so I had to contact everyone and give them the new time,so we lost two hours at the house. One bed was broken and unusable so two people had to sleep on the floor..Overall the maintenance on the house was very poor..I have used VRBO many times and had no problems but this place has more than I want to mention.. gold beach is great tho..have been there many times.always enjoy it..

This house worked well for us. We fished at 5 Star Charters and this home was close to the dock. Comfy beds, large kitchen, nice little back yard , even deer walking through. Wi-Fi was solid.
