About this house rental
Our Lake House is 20 feet from the waterfront with a great fire pit overlooking the water. The bunkhouse is perfect for kids with bunk beds and their own living room. 80 feet of brand new aluminum docking with patio on the end gives you plenty of room to hang near the water. Great place for large family and multiple family vacations. Oneida Lake has hosted the Bassmaster Classic twice with rave reviews from Pro's. Worm and bobber works well too. 4000lb rated aluminum boat hoist is available at an additional charge. Sylvan Beach is a 10 minute boat ride away with sandy bottom where you can anchor your boat offshore in 2-4 ft of water. VERY gradual beach. great for kids. We welcome you to enjoy our cottage on the lake.

The house was absolutely perfect! Lots of room, great kitchen and great table that fit all 12 of us for eating as well as game playing!! Kevin was a super host and very prompt in all communication!!A few items of note, the bunk house needs a bathroom, instruction sheet could be clearer and WiFi passwords next to the TV did not work. Also renters should be aware that August at Oneida Lake is Algae Bloom season so beware!!!

The house was in very good condition and very clean. The only drawback was that it was close to other properties. Also, it could use another bathroom in the bunkhouse. Mr. Conway was extremely gracious on a few issues. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful time staying at Kevin’s property. We were a group of 5 adults and 4 kids and we had more than enough space and sleeping spots. We could have easily had more with the size of the house. We stayed during a very cold weekend and were able to take the kids out for long walks on the frozen lake, which they loved. I can’t imagine how spectacular this property would be in the summer. A couple of things to note - the bunk house is completely separate from the main house, so if you’re bringing small children, you’ll want a monitor or 2 phones to make sure you can keep tabs on them. :) there is strong WiFi with an extension in the bunkhouse so we just FaceTimed each other and left the phones going all night - worked great. The bunkhouse also is heated by space heaters - we thought it might get cold, but they are high efficiency and warmed the space in no time. On the coldest weekend of this winter, we had to turn them off because the kids got too warm! The kids LOVED the bunkhouse and it was such a great spot for them to play and have their own space without being too far away. Check in was incredibly easy, I had a bunch of questions through the weekend and Kevin was easily reachable by text and responded so quickly. Overall, one of the best properties we’ve rented and so family friendly. Highly recommend to anyone looking!
