About this house rental
The nature lovers and lovers of organic food, sea, river, islands, pool, high privacy, you have found your dream house. The House of Green Experience is situated in the quiet village Naklice over the canyon of the river Cetina, only a few miles away from the town of Omis and the Adriatic Sea.
The special feature of this luxury and cozy house is its colorful interior and the many charming details that make this house a home. The house is separated in 2 flats connected by an external staircase. The apartment on the ground floor is fully - equipped, it consists of green room with a double bed dimension 140 x 200 cm, fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom with a shower and toilet. The apartment on the first floor has 2 bedrooms: the first bedroom is furnished with a double bed (160 x 200cm), the second has two bunk beds (90 x 200cm), two people can also sleep on the pull-out sofa bed (200 x 230cm) in the air-conditioned living room. The living room provides a big flatscreen TV with digital TV, a stereo system with a radio, wireless free Internet access and a fireplace. On the first floor there are also fully - equipped kitchen, guest bathroom with a toilet and the bathroom with a bath, toilet and washing machine. We can provide a children's travel bed, as well as one highchair.
There is a private pool with a sun terrace and loungers. You can sit at the wooden table on the veranda and enjoy meals, or simply relax in the canopy swing and gaze out over the greenery. There is an outdoor kitchen with a tap, fridge and oven. There are parking spaces in front of the house, as well as a garage, so there are three parking spaces in total.
The guests can directly participate in picking fresh fruits, thus all vegetables and fruits whenever they want from our organic garden so the holiday will be particularly appealing to parents of young children. We, the family jakovčić offer and jams from our organic production as well as olive oil and wine. Green area provide the ideal place for rest and relaxation of the body and soul. Restful sleep allows extremely favorable climate in the hot summer months at 235 meters in above the sea level. The privacy is guaranteed the home positioned only a few minutes within the walking distance from the village.
The nearest grocery shop is 2 km away,supermarket is in 6 km distance, and large malls are some 20 minutes driving, in the suburb of Split.
The town of Omis is only a 6-kilometers drive away. Many events are held there during the summer, such as folklor evenings, a pirates´ night, concerts and local song evenings, called ‘Klape'. To the left of Omis there is one of the most beautiful canyon in Croatia, where you can indulge in extreme sports, such as climbing, canoeing, rafting, rope riding, paragliding etc. Or you can visit the Radman mills by car, boat or on foot. We recommend a boat trip for children with a picnic to one of our islands, a trip in a submarine, the diving school and the Dino park, about 1km from the town.The Omiš also have many sandy and pebbles beaches which are characteristics of this part of the coast and make it one of the most beautiful, unusual and incomparable.
The second largest town in Croatia Split is only 30 minutes driving from our ''beauty'', tourist center of Dalmatia, founded from ancient roman imperator Diocletian more than 1700 years ago- a zero-category monument protected by UNESCO. Split indulges all your interests, from priceless historical sights in the very centre of the town, numerous taverns, vine and oil bars, beaches and forest Marjan, sports events to night clubs and fun.
Minimum stay in the period of 1st July till 10th September is 5 days. Arrival and departure of guests is possible every day. Departure is till 10 am and arrival from 4 pm.

We had a the most wonderful time at the house of Green. The host and her husband couldn’t have been kinder or more generous. We enjoyed the fruits and vegetables from their garden, and their own produced organic wine. The facilities were excellent and the house was more equipped than anywhere we have ever stayed. The pool was perfect and a great depth for teenagers. The 2 bed apartment was really well equipped too upstairs with air con, and downstairs the single room apt with its own kitchen and bathroom was perfect for grandparents.A quick drive to Omiš which is stunning and has so many things to do. Great restaurants, walks, beaches, boat trips and so much more.
The house is A great location if you are looking for somewhere off the beaten track but close to amenities. It is a few degrees cooler than the coast because of the mountains.
We would highly recommend the local restaurant inNaklice a 5 min walk from the house Konuba palacio, charming and reasonably priced with an authentic Croatian atmosphere.And the most delicious food and deserts. A car is a necessity.
It really was the most special relaxing holiday, with access to all the activities nearby to keep the teens happy.
The only additions to have made this beyond perfect, would have been a coffee shop within walking distance (there was a bar in naklice which opens in the evenings) and aircon in the downstairs apartment.
A magical holiday, we would love to come back!

We had great week in this house!!
Pros:
• Beautiful view of the mountains, the sun sets at about 19:30 behind the garden trees at the pool area
• Nice garden around the pool and the social areas
• Private location, not many people around at the street.
• Vegetables and fruits in the garden, grapes grow directly by the house
• Garage below ground to keep your car cool
• 40 min hiking down to Omis with a fantastic view, remember to bring water if it is a sunny day.
• Well prepared with appliance for dishes, laundry and even lots of toilet paper. Plenty of towels, sheets and such.
• Very nice hostess. They gave us a bottle of their homemade red vine that was fantastic, tasty and professionally made.
Future potential:
• The house had two apartments with different style and level of equipment, both with kitchens.
• The best located one, by the pool: had only one bedroom and was less equipped, and toilet with poor ventilation and some problem with sewage smell. The host had left an incredible number of belongings everywhere, it was difficult to find space for own things. Bedroom had a sunny location and got incredible hot, No AC. A gas stoven with no gas.
• The upstairs apartment had best kitchen, also bathtub and washing machine. The only AC in the building was in the kitchen/living room (with sofa bed for two). No AC in the bedrooms.
• The great grill in the garden had nothing to light the fire with.

Our holiday in Croatia was fantastic.
The house was very clean and the garden was so full of fruits and vegetables.
We had a warm welcome from Fabjana and her husband. And she was always happy to help giving precious advice.

House - Very private and peaceful - the only traffic is the occasional farmer passing by who sometimes stopped to give us some produce. The views are amazing and the walking opportunities from the house are fantastic, but be prepared to climb a bit. The views are worthwhile though, across the Cetina Canyon and also up the coast, over to the islands and the valleys up towards Split. The house itself is great - there is a separate upstairs and downstairs, so depending on your party there is extra privacy if you want it. It also means there are plenty of kitchens - one in each part of the house as well as one by the outside wood fired oven, which we also used as a BBQ. Comfortable beds, well appointed rooms, well kitted out kitchens. The pool and garden are lovely. The pick your own fruit & veg as it became ready was fantastic - tomatoes, courgettes, peppers, melons, peaches, strawberries, plums. Not quite ready were aubergines, potatoes, sweetcorn. Naklice - What a great little village community. We chose the house because it was remote, thinking if we wanted to eat out of an evening it would mean one of us driving, however, there is a little club by the church where the Croatian version of boules is played, and on match nights you can get drinks, including beers as well as Ice Creams. There is also the Konoba Palacio just opposite the top of the Omis footpath which was great. We had drinks there as well as two meals. The owner/chef is a very friendly chap who speaks limited English, but good German. The food was great too - especially the seafood risotto. Also, within 30 minutes walk is the Seosko Imanje in Trusa. The walk is lovely through the woods and the setting is fantastic. Food great - they do the local speciality of Soparnik as well as Peka - have both they are delicious. Because they are so remote, you struggle to just walk in and order - you need to order at least a day in advance. There is also a cafe at Tugare on the main road which we walked to regularly as the bakery next door does great pastries. Little supermarket next door too.Activities - Walking amazing and endless opportunities! Boating and rafting highly recommended.People - Friendly, generous, amusing. Fabjana and Milan are brilliant hosts - a great balance of being there without intruding. Contact was easy and with quick responses. We were very well looked after and will be returning for sure.Cant recommend highly enough.
