The host was very friendly - he let us stay a bit longer because some of use where sick. We could speak in English easily so this is the plus. I think the place is amazing, the location is in the middle of nowhere but we liked it. It must be nice starting point for the activities nearby. Especially in the summer. We were only passing by (in winter) so the quality of sleeping was important and my wife appreciated :). Fireplace made it cosy, the apartment is spacious more than enough for 2+2. I guess it could be comfortable for a longer stay. The kitchen is great with utensils (rice cooker, dutch oven etc). The view is amazing in the morning and probably in the evening but we arrived in the winter so nothing to see. The terrace is under the roof but not for the winter :) staying. I like the places were there are leftovers from previous guests like tea, coffee, etc. so you can reuse and be surprised, but some people may find it odd.

We had some problems finding the place, booking directions send you to the village centre, but if you just search for Lhota u Lysic 55 (withouth ubytovanie w velkim domu) then it finds it correctly. The apartament is bit too eclectic (modern chairs, golden finishing, stone and brick all in one apartment) but at the same time it has the soul and you see someone was trying to develop it. You can find lot of kitchenware collected over the time so again eclectic :D The apartment seems old, so you might expect something more modern, for me again this was not a problem. The rubbish bin was not empty and there was some dust on the elements but overall very clean despite those things mentioned (and mustard in the cupboard).

The apartment is great, in a peaceful and beautiful location. It is very spacious and has a lot of things to do. The rooms were comfortable. Comunication with the owners was easy and they were very polite. We were sad that we only had one night there because it is a wonderful apartment.

This was a fantastic place to stay. Marcel and his family could not have been more helpful. If you want a home from home quiet place to stay, this is the place for you. Marcel and wife had thought about everything prior to our visit , he and his wife both speak good English. Amazing views over the forest with the river just below the apartment.We went to the Brno motogp and the circuit was about 40mins ride away which was ideal for us. Nearest supermarket was Coop in the village but wasn't open until late, so Lidl was a 15min drive away. This is literally a home from home, not sure I can give it a better compliment.

There were no down sides, once we had called Marcel he guided us in as it's off the main street in the village.
