Luxury Condo w/ FREE WiFi, Parking, Heated Pool, Hot Tubs, Skier Shuttles

Clean property, easy check in process, and great location!

Great unit!

We really enjoyed staying at Beaver Creek West again, and this 3 bedroom condo was exactly the right size for our family. On the Pro's side the condo is in a super location, enhanced by the regular shuttle bus over to the Beaver Creek gondola. The views of this ground floor unit across the Lake Street Park, with Beaver Creek gondola and hills backdrop were stunning. The one touch button gas fireplace was brilliant, and consistent xfinity wifi a necessity. The entrance way heating meant always dry ski boots and coat rack perfect to keep our gear dry. The bathrooms were clean, always hotwater, and nice towels. The staff at the reception desk and driving the shuttle buses are helpful and friendly. ON the down side - and what I expected given other reviews - the unit was NOT clean - at the edges of the kitchen floor and by the fridge there was still dirt/debris. I spilt some milk on the floor and when i cleaned it up, there was more grime on the tile coming up than i would have imagined. The dining table was a good size for our family of 7, but the wood planks have gaps, and i don't jest that you could have made a meal with all the debris in those gaps if i could have got it out with a spare tooth brush or air gun. Similar story in the bedrooms - bits of candy/debris along the skirting boards/by the floor heaters, and under the beds (e.g. a discarded oxygen can). In 3 places there are carpet spikes coming up through the carpet where it is deteriorating (one near the right lounge window, covered by a mat), one near the dining table at the entrance way, and one in the master bedroom near the heater. Someone in our group stood on them all. (I've given detail as other reviews have mentioned them and detail was requested). I hope we left the unit cleaner than we found it (although a mop and a semi functioning clean vacuum cleaner would have made that easier). The kitchen was reasonably well equipped but every kitchen knife in the block was duller than an old hatchet - even our poor christmas day turkey looked like it had been hacked by a dull axe. And the steak knife set were like butter knives. Final gripe was the dishwasher, which ran for hours but didn't clean anything on the top shelf properly. All said and done, great unit, great location, needs proper cleaning, carpets repaired, and some sharp knives AND we would stay there again!

Great location and nice place. We definitely left the place cleaner then we found it.
