So, relax and enjoy the soothing sounds of the rushing water. It is an easy10 minute stroll to the Center of the Gatlinburg Strip. The main sidewalk that goes completely through town is a five minute LEVEL walk from this house. You have fabulous parking and you do not have to climb a steep mountain road to arrive at your destination. You have all the feel of the mountains, the conveniences of a motel and you have the luxury of being in an individual home. It does not get any better than that. We built this house with our personal families in mind. The house has a Queen Bedroom on the main level so you can bring your grandparents or older family members and they do not have to maneuver many stairs. It is perfect in the fact that in this age of technology you will be amazed how quickly children are drawn to the magic of the river. They will want to play all day long. Which gives you the time to relax which is what a vacation is all about.
This home includes 4 very spacious Bedrooms (5 including the Den w/sleeper sofa), 4 Baths. All Bedrooms have Flat Screen T.V.'s and Wifi throughout the house. One of the 4 Bedrooms is located on the 1st floor with a Queen Bed and adjoining Bath. Upstairs, you will find the remaining Bedrooms, The King Bedroom has a private 4 piece Bath. The 2 Queen Bedrooms have beautiful views of the river. The Den has a Full Sleeper Sofa and a Flat Screen T.V. with PS3 gaming system. The Kitchen is supplied with everything needed to cook meals or snacks. The large Farmhouse Dining Table will seat 8 comfortably. Relax in the Large Living Room to watch your favorite Movie or Sporting Event or wander onto the Porch to simply sit, relax and visit. Enjoy the soothing sounds of the Little Pigeon River. We actually have 4 or 5 Ducks that like to be fed, so save some crackers or breadcrumbs for them.
We have added an easy Boulder Access path down to the river. It is located at the foot of the stairs to the left. The River is stocked once a week with Trout, so if you like to fish…pack your fishing rod. You will need to purchase a fishing license.
