Beautiful View Home Alki Beach-West Seattle - 3 bed,3 baths

We so enjoyed the visit to Seattle, made even more special with this rental. Went to Alki beach every day, actually several times a day. So convenient to downtown, the Mariners game we attended, and great restaurant and grocery food. Worked perfectly for our family of six - four adults and two grand children of 12 and 15. Hosts were so very accommodating. Great time in and great place.

Very comfortable for our family of 6. We loved the rooftop patio and the great view. Easy access to Seattle attractions, the beach, and boardwalk.

Excellent, well equipped property. Close to a park and the beach! Walkable to restaurants. Was only 20 min to downtown Seattle by car or water taxi! Close to bike and scooter rentals. Roof top views are awesome.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had spectacular views from almost every room. Loved the extras which made it feel more like home, Would definitely recommend and will be back.

Such a nice home in a great location. Couldn't possibly hope to find a nicer home than this one. Perfect neighborhood and having your own parking spot on Alki is very "choice" :)

Ken and Karen were great hosts--they gave us helpful tips on things to do and communicated promptly any time we reached out with questions. The house was very clean and the location was fantastic. We would definitely recommend it.

House was everything and more as advertised, within walking distance to all that is necessary for a great time, food, bars and entertainment. Made use of the 4th floor deck every day. Over all a great stay. Plenty of room for 3 couples.

This is an excellent place for a family stay. It is spacious and perfectly located within just a few steps from the beach. There are 3 floors plus a balcony above overlooking Elliott Bay, the Seattle waterfront and the Olympic mountains.. The kitchen is large and well equipped. All of the bedrooms are large and comfy for a good night's sleep. A short drive takes you to the Water Taxi for riding to the Seattle piers, the best way to avoid the city traffic. .

The views from the rooftop deck are breathtaking. Amazing food and coffee are only one block away! This property was perfect for my friends and me! Plenty of beds and bathrooms. I didn’t want to leave! Ken and Karen, this place is everything you advertised and more. Thank you for making my 50th birthday trip a week to remember!

My husband and I have been to Seattle before but our kids haven’t. We decided to take this trip as our last “family” vacation, since our oldest just graduated. We’re so glad we picked West Seattle and Ken and Karen’s place. There was plenty of room for our 4 teenage boys to spread out. The master suite, with a huge soaking tub, was definitely the icing on the cake after walking and climbing all day, every day!!! The icing on the cake was both the gorgeous views on the rooftop deck and only being 1/2 block away from the beach. The boys had a great time renting the electric scooters (which are everywhere) to get around. Even with the bridge out, it wasn’t bad getting into downtown. Not only will we recommend, we’ll be back!! Thanks for a great trip! Bob and Leslie

The property couldn't have been more perfect for us. There are several common areas for everyone to congregate. We also had enough space to get away from people if needed. It was clean and had everything we needed. The patio on the roof was our favorite spot. It's very peaceful with views of the mountains and spots of the beach. We loved staying here!!.

Excellent location, lovely house. One thing I might mention is that 1st level is single bed with bath and entry, 2nt level half bath, kitchen, living and small balcony, 3rd level queen bed with off bath and king bed with master bath and balcony, 4th level balcony with table and grill. It really worked for us as the family was from 3 house holds so have us our own space and a place to congregate without waking anyone

We had a great time. The youngest son & family live in West Seattle. The Alki location was so convenient to them as well as the beach, great restaurants, and easy walking. The park across the street was wonderful for the grandchildren. House is very well provisioned.

Amazing ! The home is modern and beautifully decorated . I want to live here! The master suite is huge and the bed was soooo comfortable. Can't beat the location either. Sweeping views from the rooftop deck , and only 1 block from the the beach . ⛱ You won't be disappointed.

I grew up in Seattle and brought my family and some people who’d never been to Seattle. This was the most authentic Seattle experience an out of towner could have. West Seattle experience anyway. The only downside was the West Seattle bridge being closed. The townhouse was really nice. We had friends over for dinner and enjoyed the AMAZING view from the roof top deck. Will definitely stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay! All the other reviews say it best...great view off deck, nearness to Alki Beach is fantastic and house is clean and well stocked with everything you need. If we come back to Seattle our family would stay again. Couple of things to note: if steps are difficult for you then this house isn't for you, A/C is in master bedroom only (you won't need it unless it's record setting temps, I'm a big guy and like it cold and had no issues sleeping/staying comfortable), our family of 6 had room to sleep just fine, but if you had 6 adults it might be tight and not too comfy for the one on the hid-a-bed. None of these things dimmed our enjoyment of the stay just some info to better help you choose.

Our overall experience was excellent. A definite highlight is the fourth floor deck with a great view, seating for seven and a BBQ. The small kids really enjoyed the popular park just across the street and the adults enjoyed the half-block distance to Alki Beach and restaurants. We had problems with housekeepers not completing the laundry before our stay, but the owners took care of the problem right away, even though they were overseas. The unsolicited offer of a cleaning fee rebate was generous and welcome. The house is well-appointed and comfortable throughoutwith a large modern kitchen, comfortable living room, and large dining room table. Be aware that there are four flights of stairs that you are constantly climbing. We enjoyed the exercise, but logged 86 stories of climbing in one day - so be aware if you have issues with stairs. Overall, our visiting family members raved about the place and loved the location - despite the fact it was a bit of a drive for them from them from their homes. Be aware that the West Seattle Bridge is closed, which adds 20 minutes or so to travel to Seattle proper. But if you avoid rush hour it's not much of a problem.

The Alki townhouse is perfect for families or couples traveling together. The location is wonderful, just a block from the beach with shops and restaurants close by. The rooftop deck is ideal for morning coffee or afternoon cocktails.

WONDERFUL property, bedrooms for all, LL bedroom got chilly some nights, just used extra blankets & adjusted heat, kitchen nicely stocked. Owners responsive with all requests, will definitely RENT this home again! Great location for walking in Alki. ***West Seattle Bridge is completely closed due to construction, pls note if you plan to drive N or to Seattle, allow ~ 40 MN extra time.*** This did not, and would not deter us from renting here again, just wanted others to be aware for planning drive times. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this home! Ken and Karen were fantastic hosts who were extremely gracious when we had a mixup on our dates. The location across from the playground and just a block from the beach was ideal for our family with three young kids. The home was very clean, had plenty of space for us to spread out, and was equipped with loads of sheets and towels, kitchen equipment, and food staples. You won’t regret staying in this home!

Great property, owners easy to work with and walking distance to Alki Beach. All interior items and features were as advertised. More than enough dishes, glasses, pots, pans, etc. Nice rooftop deck which we would have used if the weather was better. Cloxox wipes were a nice and thoughful touch. Thanks for making our visit to Seattle memorable.

If you’re looking for a place within walking distance to the water, this is the place for you! We stayed for a month to escape Atlanta heat and it fit the bill perfectly! Extremely easy to get into Seattle while also offering plenty of shopping within 10 minutes. Honestly, there aren’t enough words to describe how wonderful our vacation was. The owners are also delightful and always prompt at answering questions.

It was a very nice place to stay, neat, clean and so close to the beach, unfortunately it rained most our stay but went to PikePlace and shopped and went on the Ferris wheel. ( water taxi). Thanks!
