Quiet location with hammocks in a cabana by the water, though not suitable for swimming as mangrove area. Good for watching birds. Comfortable beds. All basic equipment provided for self catering. Lovely deck for breakfast.
Location meant taxis or bikes needed to go into town or a beach. Property newly painted, but fittings such as towel and curtain rails likely to fall off the wall. Only one bottle of drinking water included, for the price of the villa refills should be free.

I didn't like that there wasn't a pool when it said in the description that there was a shared pool. I also wish we could have swam in the front of the property. There could have been a larger garbage can in the kitchen.

Jerry and Ella, the property owners who live next door, are friendly and helpful. We were in Caye Caulker for a pretty long time (a week plus), and from what I could tell this is one of the bigger and nicer properties on the island. Private swimming pool is a big advantage for having fun anytime without spending $$. Huge deck with nice breeze and sea view. Good times.
