Shells Unawatuna

Staying there 2nd time already. Good location, pleasant room, great hosts, reasonable price. Will stay there other times definitely.

Nice design, perfect location next to the best restaurants in the area and 5 minutes to the touristic street and around 7 minutes to the beach, good staff. They also have a terrace next to the room to enjoy sunset. Good, comfortable room with hot water and air conditioning. Modern design and very reasonable price.

The room itself was perfect. Cool, spacious, comfortable had reliable wifi and a great bathroom. It was one of the best rooms we have had in Sri Lanka so far. The hosts were welcoming and helpful.

This is absolutely no fault of the owners but the only thing keeping it from being a perfect score was the crazy busy main road the property is situated on. The noise wasn't a huge issue as we bring ear plugs with us but the drivers on this road are absolutely mental, especially the bus drivers who seem to have zero care for any one else around them. Something needs to be done to ensure safety along this road. It is quite dangerous at times so be careful! Again not the owners fault. Otherwise an absolutely perfect stay. If I could give a 9.5 or 9.9 even I would.

El personal amable, lo llamas y enseguida intentan ayudar

Reservamos habitación de dos camas porqué éramos dos amigos y la habitación tenía dos camas juntas, que separaron de 1 cm porqué no había espacio para separarlas más. No había locker en la puerta del baño (había un hueco), y no se cerraba por lo tanto si uno iba al baño a hacer necesidades, el otro tenía que salir de la habitación. Es verdad que reservamos a ultima hora pero fue la habitación más sucia en la cual estuve hasta ahora, hasta las sábanas no estaban lavadas y estaban llenas de pelos y cositas. Tuvimos que pedir una papelera. La habitación en si no está mal pero no estaba para alquilar.
