About this apartment rental
This suite is located on Lake Ruth in Dundee, Fl. The entire suite is lakefront. The Suite is a master bedroom w/bath and the Florida room that has been re purposed.
It includes a queen bedroom, shower restroom and main room with office area, two couches, a chair, an eating are, table w/4 chairs, small frig, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and eating supplies. This is not a full kitchen.
The private entrance is located through the patio which has a gas grill and patio furniture. The entrance has three steps and there are several up and down steps inside the suite itself. This is NOT a property that a person with mobility issues would wish to stay at.
This is an animal free and smoking free location.
Our location is ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy the full Florida experience. We are 10 miles from Legoland and Bok Towers. We are half an hour from Disney, 45 minutes from Universal and Sea World, a little over an hour from Busch Gardens and central to the Gulf and the Atlantic Ocean. All that and you can come home to a quite little town that has only three red lights in its entirety, and one of those only blinks when school out.
If you wish to visit the other Florida, there are 13 connected lakes in our Winter Haven area and there are services available to take you by pontoon boat with an onboard cookout thru the chain where you will even see Legoland from the water. Or maybe an airboat gater hunt would interest you.
Right here is Dundee, model train enthusiasts have built their own mile long train track where they enjoy taking folks on rides on their own trains.
The main trade here in Dundee is agricultural. We grow all the citrus fruits, blueberries and peaches. If antiquing is your thing, you'll love it here.
We have access to the leading concierge service is Orlando and they offer us great prices on attraction packages and can even arrange your rental car at the where ever you need one.
We have been hosting in our home for over four years now and have nothing but positive experiences so far. The Ironman competition in Haines City that ends at Avon Park actually goes right down the street in front of our home. We also have now hosted 12 countries and look forward to meeting you.

Suzetta is an amazing hostess. The suite was clean, cozy, and tidy. Sitting on the patio under the ceiling fans was relaxing and tranquil. It was the perfect combination of convenience to location and separation from the hustle and bustle of the crowd. I would recommend it for anyone visiting the area.

Comfortable lodging best reserved for short stays as there is no kitchen sink mor cooktop. Location a bit remote in a small town. Setting is beautiful with a west facing view over a small lake. Short walk to a beautiful larger lake park with a walking path around it. Very responsive and accommodating host in Suzetta.

Ended up staying here during the famous 12 Hours of Sebring weekend. Reasonable cost, but for those who are interested, it’s an hour from the track. BUT, don’t let that sway you. Comfortable quarters, easy to get to and close to grocery/food.

From beginning to end, my honest opinions. The host TRIED to give us every detail so we were aware of what we were getting into. SHE WAS VERY SWEET AS A PERSON. Upon arriving at the house it was kind of weird because it's implied but not made clear that the condo is attached to the back of her house. Like half of her house closed off. So there entry points from inside the home that were locked and blocked off. Check-in was easy. I arrived a few minutes early and she let me in. There is no sidewalk or pavement along the side of the house to roll your luggage so you have to roll it on grass and sand. I don't recommend wearing sandals. The inside is beautiful! Went to take a shower and the shower is small with a tall shower head. I'm a short big girl so the shower was very uncomfortable. The water hits right in my face and you can't back up because it's a small shower. The shower head is not adjustable to turn it to the wall either. When getting ready to leave the first day I couldn't figure out how to lock to door so my belongings can be secure while I was gone. I called the number provided twice around 6. I also left a message on the VRBO app. I didn't get a response until 11:30 pm. By then I had figured it out on my own. But she was very sweet when she messaged me back on VRBO. She even recommended a place to eat. The temperature was set on a good temperature and there was also a window unit attached to make your own adjustments. It wasnt all bad. It was actually very nice.
