About this house rental
Master bedroom, bath and double walk in closets are on 2nd floor. This bedroom has a large private porch with swing for relaxing and enjoying the view of Little Lake Weir to the south and beautiful horse pastures to the north . Two guest rooms and baths are at opposite ends of the downstairs providing bedroom and bathroom privacy for all guests. Boathouse is set up for cocktails and sunset viewing. Wonderful ancient oaks and pine trees are home to an eagle family and owls. Sand Hill Cranes frequent the beach. We have a magnificent sandy white beach. The Master bedroom has a king bed One guest room has a queen and one has a double bed. There are TVs in the living room and master bedroom. The kitchen has granite counter tops, all electric appliances and has a bar separating it from the living room dining room area. There is a fireplace. The sun room is spacious and bright with great views of the lake. It is furnished with a couch and 2 chairs and a desk. The screened porch across the lake side of the house is a wonderful place to have morning quite time and enjoy the beauty of nature.

The rooms were beautifully furnished with lots of character. Very sophisticated and comfortable. The host was friendly and charming and providing information about local places when asked. The lake is full of wildlife--a bird-watcher's dream. Very beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. Will be coming to stay again soon!

The lake view was serene. There is always something going on with all the cranes, ducks, geese, ibis and eagles. The house is comfortable and roomy. Communicating with Tommy is always a pleasure.

My husband and I spent a wonderful month here at this amazing property. The house is lovely with a great screened-in porch with expansive views of the lake. The kitchen has been nicely renovated with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. And this is all part of a farm with cows and horses. There is even a resident bald eagle and numerous Sandhill cranes showed up every day. The surrounding countryside is also very pretty. For free nightly entertainment and lots of dining choices you can go down to The Villages, which are only 15 minutes away. Walmart and Puplix grocery stores are also nearby. There are also numerous state parks in this part of Florida. We loved it so much we have booked it for next February.
