About this house rental
Lovely spacious home in one of Minneapolis' best neighborhoods (Lynnhurst). This home has a gas fire place for winter guests, and central air conditioning for summer guests, a large fully equipped kitchen/family room with TV, seating at center island, full dining room, living room, one bedroom on the main floor with a twin bed and adjoining full bathroom. On the second floor, there are 3 bedrooms and one full bath. The upstairs bedrooms have king, double futon couch and 2 single beds with an optional trundle. In the summer, there is a beautiful sunken garden in the back, and patio for barbecues and eating out. There is a cat that lives on premises. She comes and goes during the day but sleeps inside at night. The property is walking distance to Lake Harriet, award winning bakeries and restaurants, grocery stores, a library, bike trails, ski trails, public transportation. Minneapolis just won the city with the best park system in the country: The house is 5 minutes off 35W and a 10 minute drive to the heart of downtown., 10 minutes to the MSP airport, 10 minutes to the University of Minnesota and 10 minutes to the U.S. Bank Stadium and Target Field.

Lots of great parks in the area, excellent location. Of note, there were 2 bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs which made our sleeping arrangements a little tricky but the owner was very helpful in trying to make it work. She also got a microwave for is which was very helpful. There is a cat that comes with the house but she is pretty friendly.

My small family had a delightful stay in this lovely home. The house is both beautiful and comfortable, and had everything that we wanted for a pleasant stay. (Note that there is no microwave or coffee grinder, though the owners offered to procure one for us if needed.) This is the owners' primary residence, but they carefully cleared out bathrooms and bureaus for our use. Our son was especially charmed by Gina the (indoor/outdoor) cat, who is extremely friendly.

We stayed in this house with our 2 kids and had a nearly perfect stay. It's a wonderful home, just the kind of place we'd choose if we lived there permanently. Thanks so much for having us!
Suggestion: Borrow or buy a microwave for guests. We had to borrow one from a friend (necessary for heating up a lot of kids' foods simply).
