Booby Duck Cottage, St. Lawrence Main Road.

My wife and I were visiting for her birthday/our anniversary. We truly enjoyed our stay here. Trevor is a great host and person. He knew we were traveling for a special occasion and set up a nice selection of drinks for us in the fridge! He was very friendly during check-in and more than willing to recommend things to do around the island. As for the property, it is in a great location. It is extremely close to the GAP where there are good restaurants and taxis if you want to head somewhere else. There are also a few beaches within walking distance as well. The place is small and cozy with an awesome balcony that we would sit on when it rained for a nice relaxing experience. Great place with an even greater host! Thanks for everything Trevor

We had a great stay at Booby Duck Cottage, & it's ideally placed in terms of location for getting out & about. The Gap is very close by, so walking out is easy, & buses & the number 11 & 3D vans are frequently passing. It's an easy walk to the beaches, bars etc including Worthing beach which is our favourite, & Massey & Trimart for shopping. The cottage is located on the main road, so traffic noise was a little loud at times from early morning and a couple of local bars could be heard very late into the night and early morning. Earplugs are needed if you're a light sleeper, but rum also helps! We saw monkeys in the breadfruit tree at the back of the property, & humming birds too. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need & Trevor is a lovely man & a great host. He is very helpful, accessible & good fun. There's a landline phone and a mobile to use for local calls such as making restaurant reservations, & Trevor is always available to assist with any queries. Thanks Trevor for recommending Lisa's Rotis & doubles (outside of the King's Tavern, Worthing), which were the best we'd ever had, & for a great stay, & our lifts. Really appreciated it. Hopefully see you next time we're back!

Trevor was a pleasure to deal with right from the initial contact and throughout our stay. His response to our inquiries and the fact that he took the time to send us a list of things going on in Barbados while we were there was greatly appreciated. Description of the apartment was accurate and it is very well equipped. Even a local cell phone was provided for local calls if we needed it. Three sided deck on this top floor unit was a great place to enjoy our morning coffee or an evening cocktail. One of the good things about the apartment could also be one of the few drawbacks. It is central to so many thing that we could walk to including Dover Beach, Carib or Sandy Beach and the many restaurants and shops in the St. Lawrence Gap that a car is not needed. However it is located on the main road, so traffic noise was a little loud at times and a couple of nightclubs in the "Gap" could be heard very late into the night and early morning. Earplugs came in very handy a couple of nights but if you are interested in some late night dancing and partying, then the location is great! The apartment is reasonably priced and as I said before, dealing with Trevor is an absolute pleasure...he is a gem! Thanks for everything Trevor. Brian and Debbie from Canada

Trevor was a great host. The location was perfect. Close to St Lawrence nightlife and Dover Beach. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities you would need. The rum punch was also excellent! Wanted to book it for next year but already taken. I highly recommend Booby Duck! You won’t be disappointed. Thanks Trevor hope to book with you in the future.
