About this house rental
A beautiful 1400 sq ft 2 story home. 4 minute walk to the ocean. 1.5 miles to KEHENA black sand beach. Comfortable and clean with OCEAN VIEWS from many rooms and the covered lanai unlimited fast Internet - ATT Cell Phone reception - streaming Netflix on a big screen TV, GAS BBQ. The large covered outside Lanai with Ocean View, is great for outdoor dining, relaxing and taking in nature. Fully equipped kitchen. Tile and wood floors, Koa and Bamboo wood furniture. Large bathroom with separate toilet room for privacy. The home has an upstairs and a downstairs bedroom, both with very comfortable queen beds. We supply all paper products and soaps, linens and towels. Attention is given to all the details of housekeeping so our guests have a clean and inviting home to stay in.
Set on 3 acres of landscaped property with mature fruit trees that you can eat from when in season. The short walk down our private driveway to the ocean is great for morning sun rises and amazing coastal views. we are across from some of the most beautiful and undeveloped coastline in Hawaii.
With miles of State property, ideal for walking and exploring or just taking in unspoiled ocean views. A great place to explore, Turtles and dolphins are often seen from here. You can walk or drive to KEHENA BLACK SAND BEACH about 1.5 miles from us.

Absolutely stunning property. You can see that they have been landscaping and caring for this property for 20 years. The pictures truly undersell the beauty of this location. Sue was just charming and sweet. She had my son pick a fresh pineapple and then we planted the top so it can grow into a new plant for others. One warning - you are living off the grid here. The tapwater is untreated rainwater, but they provide filtered water to drink. You have to be careful about running too many appliances at once because it’s all solar power on site. It was not a problem for us but it was some amount of mental homework. The location is gorgeous but remote. Even driving to get gas or food is 30 mins. You are in the wilderness, and this will be perfect for many travelers, but not all. The hosts live on the property in another home but left us alone other than friendly chats. That said, they are easygoing folks who seem bighearted and kind. This is their pride and joy and they love their paradise. You shouldn’t worry about them getting involved in your stay. I enjoyed our stay here, and coming from Kona it was a really different view of the island. However, my 10 year old struggled with boredom. It’s a place to chill and cook your own food and enjoy being in nature.

This is an amazing tropical getaway!!! We can’t say enough good things. The property was a tropical garden and the house was spotless and very well maintained. It is private and the hosts were extremely generous. We didn’t want to leave. Highly Recommend this location for a Hawaiian getaway!!!

Sue was very hospitable and gave us great information about things to do in the area as well as around the island. We enjoyed her company. The property is beautiful. We were very comfortable staying here.

Gorgeous garden of botanical delights in an exceptional area. Drive past the pounding waves and Kamani tree canopy as you approach the property. Sue & Chad have designed an exquisite spot which could not be more perfect.
