Blackout curtains ensure restful sleep during Alaska’s long summer daylight hours. You’ll also find a washer and dryer on this level for added comfort during extended stays. Stairs leading upstairs include a secure handrail and motion-sensor lighting for safe and easy access at night.

The loft bedroom features a queen bed and is accessed by a sturdy ladder-style staircase with a handrail. The ladder is secure but steep and may not be suitable for toddlers or guests with mobility concerns. While the loft includes window blinds, it does not become completely dark, so light-sensitive sleepers often prefer the ground-level king bedroom.

The main living level includes a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen is stocked well beyond the basics, offering premium coffee, a selection of teas, sugar, honey, creamer, spices, condiments, oatmeal, sharp knives, quality cookware and thoughtfully selected kitchen tools.
