The home is a great beach house with about everything you might need. The backyard is wonderful for your 4-legged family members and the home was clean and comfortable. Its a nice walk to the beach and back or a short drive to Balboa Park, the Zoo and other attractions. The noise from the planes can be heard but it's quiet for about 6 hours during the night and with the windows closed and the AC on, it's fine. We had a couple small issues during our stay but the host was quick to fix what they could. It was a nice retreat from the desert heat.

This property was exactly as advertised. The hosts were extremely flexible and communicated flawlessly. We will absolutely be looking to stay here again next time we visit OB.

I always go on Google Earth to see a location, but nothing prepared us for overhead flights going early morning (5 a.m.) and late night (10 p.m.). We managed two nights, then couldn't take it anymore and left without completing our 3-night stay. I called the owners to tell them that we were leaving. Going back over the advertisement I still do not see a notice for being in "a flight path of the airport". Very disappointing.
