Slice of peace and tranquility with great facilities run by a fabulous family team!

Absolutely everything. The location and hotel was perfect for us. Food and drink was great, facilities were spot on. Not surprised to have heard another guest saying it was one of many visits they’ve had here. We did experience the hotel at an unusually quiet weekend but this added to the tranquility we needed and given the space and facilities it wouldn’t seem busy if it were full

If I had to dig out of my brain a small negative, it would be the lack of a covered outdoor area to sit as I didn’t spot one, but again that is being super picky!

Location is hidden in the country side, takes a bit of getting use to but when you do, it's fantastic

I wouldn't recommend moorhead country park to anyone as its not fit for purpose didn't stay1 night

Didn't stay after been showed room dreadful smell unable to close faulty windows showed alternative room on first floor up metal stairs wooden landing platform broken and rotten and unsave manager offered refund on 3 occasions and went back on her word and I had to find alternative accommodation elsewhere

We had a very nice time during our stay . Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had everything we required under one roof and if the weather wasn’t good you had lots to keep you entertained on site

WiFi was only available in certain areas of the complex. Would really benefit if it was available in each apartment

Lovely remote location with fabulous views. Neat little apartment that was comfy and cosy. Lots to do onsite, most of it free. Everything we needed for a relaxing weekend

Apartments were very well laid out with everything you need, including aircon. Very friendly and helpful family run business. We will definitely be returning next year. I thoroughly recommend a stay here

Great facilities, stunning views, very quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Only thing we didn't like was the mattress on the bed, we found it very hard and quite uncomfortable as a result did not really sleep well. However this we.do realize that this was probably down to personal preferences and others would probably find it quite comfortable.

Great - even for booking.com standards

We were using the property while surveying in the area. However, we were able to make use of some of the many excellent facilities such as the indoor pool and Jacuzzi and full sized snooker room. My son commented that the hosts could do nothing more to ensure an excellent stay. If you are holidaying here - you have excellent access to Cornwall and Devon and actually no need to leave the property at all if you want to relax fishing, swimming golfing etc etc Extensive DVD and games libraries.

We had no negative issues at all.

We enjoyed the quiet environment and the countryside views.

Location excellent though access roads were in poor condition and very narrow. The apartment was clean, well-equipped and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of activities available there.

It was a long way from reception to our room - along corridors and up stairs. I am elderly and my son is recovering from operations after a road accident, so the carrying of our baggage to the apartment was extremely difficult. However, the staff helped with this.
