Paradise in Nicaragua! Beautiful Oceanfront Home

We had a great time during our holiday. We were 5 people and the beach house was perfect for our needs. What made it exceptional are the addition of Luis (driver of our rental) and his sister Lesbia, cleaner and cook extraordinaire!

My partner and I were looking for a super relaxing beach vacation with our 15mo son and that's exactly what we found here. The property and house were absolutely wonderful. There was a pool in the front yard that we used night and day. The house also comes with surfboards and I frequented the break that was steps from the house. We also can't say enough good things about Luis, the caretaker. He was so helpful with bringing us to and from the airport amongst other things. All in all our trip was absolutely amazing and we cannot wait to rent this house again. Such wonderful memories were made here on this trip. If you are questioning if you should rent this house... this is your sign... yes!

Luis, caretaker, and Lesbia, chef, were both more than perfect. Surf break out back was awesome, 2-3 ft to 4-6 ft while we were there, always offshore winds. Separate kitchen house and separate third bedroom keeps things quiet for late sleepers. Pool never got too hot even with all 90+ degree days. Gated, safe, off the beaten path, quiet, can’t recommend any higher!!!!!

To stay in this magical surf Hacienda is like being welcomed into a family. It was very hard to leave this beautiful slice of paradise. Luis and Lesbia, the brother and sister team that guide, feed, take care of, welcome, chauffeur and educate the guests that stay here are like gold. The authentic meals and personal food requests were delicious and healthy and fruitful to say the least. The knowledge of Luis with regard to surf spots, the surrounding areas, and nuggets of advice were welcome and helpful. The property was very clean and beautifully maintained. Our group included grandparents AND kids and this place did not disappoint! It had hammocks, a big pool, comfy seating areas, enough bathrooms and plenty of seats at the dining table (al fresco!) to make this thanksgiving an unforgettable experience for our family. Luis was always around to drive us, answer questions, arrange activities (he knows practically everyone, we started calling him the Mayor;) which made this vacation so effortless. And his sister Lesbia needs to put out her own cook book, she’s such a gifted chef. The owner of the property was wonderful to interact with and was very responsive. We truly left our hearts in Pochomil.
