Great place shame about the sub-optimal matresses.

Excellent accommodating staff. Good food and drink in the bar/restaurant. Breakfast was nice too.

Literally the only downside was the very uncomfortable matress on the double bed. You could feel the individual springs.

Convenient, small details thought of.

Perfect location close to Cadwell park and with a big secluded car park in a small village. Victoria and Adam are great hosts and cooks ! My second visit in 2 weeks for my 2nd track day and I’ll always use them when going to Cadwell as it’s 10 mins away. Bed is very comfy

Great place to stay, comfy, nice food and nicely situated!

I had a lovely welcome on arrival, the room was fantastic, newly finished with quality furnishings and fittings. The evening meal was great, one of the best steak and ale pies I've ever tasted! The service again was friendly and spot on. The inn itself is quite an old building with character and charm. Situated in a great village with surrounding walks, I took my push bike and had a nice ride around traffic free lanes with fantastic views across the Lincs Wolds. The bedroom had natty USB and USB C charge points built into the bed side lamps, handy.

Nothing of note, maybe just needed a hairdryer.

Delicious stay at the Black Horse Inn.

Spacious room, large bathroom, all very clean. Best part of the stay was the food, we had our evening meal at the pub, it was superb! The steak and ale pie was the best my husband has ever had, I had the stuffed chicken, also delicious. Breakfast was lovely too, highly recommend staying here or even just visit to sample the food. (photo, we ate every morsel! haha)

A very enjoyable stay

A very friendly welcome and well liked after, the evening meals were lovely, proper cooking, my compliments to the chef. The location was convenient for the event at Cadwell Park.

Ace for Cadwell.

The Hosts, Victoria and Adam are wonderful. It is located in a quiet village and situated perfectly for Cadwell Park race track. It is closed to the public from Sunday afternoon after 4:30pm and Monday and Tuesday, but if you are a paying guest staying there, they will provide an evening meal and drinks from the bar. The food was excellent. There is loads of off-road free parking.

I found my single twin bed quite comfortable, but it was a bit rickety and the headboard rattles. My friend whom is 6ft 2inch and 19St, did not find the bed comfortable, but he seemed to sleep well enough to me because of the snoring! There is a flagstone that needs repairing on the way to the rooms, as it's a trip hazard.
