Nicosia Luxury Studio

I would like to express my immense gratitude to the owner of the apartment, Mr. Yiorghos Leventis. An exceptional person, intelligent, infinitely kind, responsive and infinitely funny! Thanks to him, I saw and got to know Cyprus and all its specificities. He helped me reach great places, introduced me to great people and took me to specific restaurants where I tried traditional Cypriot food. The conditions in the apartment are great by all criteria. It is clean, it is warm, it is cozy! The location is more than good. Just a few steps outside you have a rich supermarket, modern bakeries and snack bars, a cigarette, alcohol and coffee shop that works 24 hours. The center of Nicosia is just a few minutes walk away through the beautiful streets. You reach the main street full of cafes and shops in just 5 minutes on foot. You do not need a car. Also in a few minutes on foot you reach the Turkish part, which you can get to with just an ID card in a few minutes. In the Turkish part you can eat traditional Turkish food and walk through the rich stalls. I would highly recommend staying at Mr. Yiorghos' apartment. I have stayed in other places in Nicosia, but this is definitely the best. Respect :)

Πολύ καλό διαμέρισμα , με πρόσβαση σε 15 λεπτά με τα πόδια στο κέντρο της παλιάς πόλης της Λευκωσίας. Βρίσκεται σε έναν ήσυχο δρόμο , πολύ κοντά σε μουσεία , άλλα αξιοθέατα, τράπεζες, σούπερ μάρκετ και πολλά ενδιαφέροντα σημεία εστίασης . Ξεχώρισα την ευγένεια του ιδιοκτήτη του διαμερίσματος , ενός από τους πιο γνωστούς καθηγητές στον τομέα του, που υπάρχουν σήμερα στην Κύπρο .

Ορισμένες φορές σημειώνονται διακοπές στο internet , αυτό οφείλεται μάλλον στο γεγονός ότι άλλοι ενοικιαστές διπλανών διαμερισμάτων της ίδιας ιδιοκτησίας , κατεβάζουν μεγάλα αρχεία χρησιμοποιώντας την ίδια σύνδεση .

It was a great position , only 7 minutes stroll to the old city ( city centre ) and 15 to twenty minutes to the administrative and new shopping areas . At the bottom of the road there were loads of great restaurants and trendy take aways for lunch as well as an old style kebab shop . A good local supermarket on the corner yet still quiet in the apartment at night so a good sleep . The host was very amenable and informative and dealt with any issues immediately and efficiently . I was there for family and official business this trip and it was the perfect place to stay .It is cool in the day so I did not need to use the air on . It had English plug sockets , very handy for my laptop and phone .

The name of the street is spelt wrong on both Booking.Com and Google maps so be aware that it is spelt Palyklitou and not Polyklitou so the taxi driver had problems finding it as he was using Google maps on his phone . It is better to use The Green Tree Supermarket on the corner as the reference point for taxi s to find it .

No hot water in shower. No private parking. No patio and no privacy from nearby buildings!
