Cabin was just as described. Very clean and comfortable. Hot tub was great. Host responded to me immediately before arriving and after arriving. Very kind. I would highly recommend this cabin/host. We hope to travel that way again and be a repeat customer.

We were a little confused when we arrived. We saw photos of what we thought was 2 bedrooms and a loft but there was only one bedroom and a loft.The photo of the main bedroom is taken numerous times with different bedding on it. The description does however say 2 bedrooms so that was on us. The road leading to the cabin is very secluded which is nice, but also a little rough and not paved, but most people that travel to the mountains regularly have come to expect that I think. Relaxing in the hot tub was nice! It was clean and well maintained.

Beautiful, secluded and peaceful spot. The cabin was clean, super-cozy and furnished with everything we needed. When something beyond his control went wrong, the owner went out of his way to fix it for us. If we visit Asheville again, we will book this place. Loved it.

The cabin was isolated and quiet, but not too far from Asheville and Pisgah forest. It had everything you need, including hot tub, grill, comfy beds and a full kitchen. The owner was a great communicator and very flexible. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The owners made this an easy time for a two night stay. The house was well equipped and we wanted for nothing except ice.The neighborhood was quiet, wooded and peaceful. The fire pit is situated in the front yard and there was plenty of firewood!We didn't have time to use the hot tub! The house is decorated so cute with a rustic design. The bed was super comfy. We would highly recommend this location if you are looking to get out of the rat race of the city as we were trying to do. (No icemaker

Such a cute and cozy cabin in the woods! We saw a turkey, deer and lots of other wildlife. Great getaway just far enough from the city, but still close enough to all the local attractions. Asheville is still in recovery mode, but Hendersonville was such a cute town with lots of cool shops and restaurants. Hot tub was relaxing and we enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks for having us!

This was a great location and just what we were looking for. We had a couple of minor maintenance issues and Hugh was easy to communicate with and issues were fixed in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this location to others as it was a perfect homebase for all our activities and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking and driving the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Our stay in Mills River was fantastic! The property was clean, private, and offered a peaceful retreat. Its the perfect location to be able to enjoy Asheville, Hendersonville, and the waterfalls in Mills River. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi after a full day of exploring the area. Communication with the owner was seamless, making our stay stress-free. The cabin is decorated very cute with a nice cabin feel. If you're in the area, be sure to check out The Salty Landing—their food was delicious with great hospitality! We also loved visiting Bold Rock Mills River Cidery, where we enjoyed live music, amazing smoked wings, and great drinks. We will definitely be back!

Property is in a great location, convenient to everywhere. Very comfortable and clean, a little TLC outside as far as cleaning the yard and deck would go a long way. The wood stove gave off a very strong firepit odor that was a little offensive but that was by far my biggest complaint. Overall it. Was a great experience.

We came here for our 5 year anniversary. It was such a great place to stay. I loved the privacy. Hugh was a pleasure to communicate with. It has everything you need for cooking and little toiletry items. I would highly recommended this cozy cabin to anyone wanting to get away for a bit!

A few of the appliances were at end of life and the second bedroom is probably most suited for kids but still worked as a second room for an additional adult. Would definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed this cabin for our week long spring break vacation. Mills River had plenty to do that was nice and close and we enjoyed the day at the Cabin for Easter. Cabin had everything we needed and our boys loved having yard space with trees and a creek! It was sunny and warm the first half of our stay but we realky enjoyed the wood stove and hot tub once it cooled down. Played a few of the board games on hand and really had a nice time together as a family. Would definitely visit again!

We stayed for a weekend, and the cabin was clean and well-kept. The hot tub was so nice! We saw deer and the stars were bright and beautiful in this quiet area. Communication was easy with the owners. Just to know though- the road up the mountain to it is very narrow and steep.

The drive to the cabin was a little tricky. Signs said Private Property and Private Road/Dead End...just keep going! Was nervous I was going to end up on a property I was not supposed to be on. Drive slow, it's only one lane with a few wide spots. I sadly didn't make it into the hot tub, but it definitely looked inviting. It was just a bit cold outside. The cabin was very clean! Only used the bed on the main floor. The bed is a tempur-pedic with massage! Very comfortable! The water in the shower was nice and hot! The kitchen had everything I needed to cook with.(Silverware, pots and pans, utensils, plates, bowls, glasses, salt and pepper, and a few spices.) Just bring food and condiments. The kitchen table set up was very cute! The owners have some check in's and check out requests, very easy to follow directions! The owners were easily reachable if/when anything was needed. Very quiet and peaceful cabin! It is a great cabin to stay at and I am looking forward to another visit soon!
