About this house rental
We're delighted to share our 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin in Mineral with you.
Our house has 10 beds and a sofabed to take care of big families and groups.
There are two full bathrooms.
Our flat driveway is perfect for many cars, or even an RV.
We have Starlink internet access, and a cell phone booster, so you can stay connected...but we hope you can break away from the phone while you're here!
We care about your safety, so you'll find many fire extinguishers throughout the house and escape ladders in each of the upstairs bedrooms. There are also smoke and carbon monoxide alarms in each bedroom and living room
We've also added a backup generator to keep the whole house powered in case the power goes out. (PG&E, our electic co. cuts off the power occasionally to avoid starting wildfires)
Bedroom setup:
Downstairs there are two bedrooms:
- One room has one queen bed
- One room has two twins
Upstairs there are two bedrooms as well:
- One room has one queen and a twin
- One room has one queen and two twins
The upstairs common area between the two bedrooms also has two twin beds, with blackout curtains surrounding each bed
The kitchen is complete with dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, kettle, french press, toaster, plates and silverware for 12.
The back deck has a large propane grill for afternoon BBQs
We have all the tools we enjoy cooking with, from spatulas to baking dishes, etc.

We had a great time. The house was super well stocked with necessities, which was really helpful since there aren't close supermarkets.There were nice extras, like an AED (which we thankfully did not use) and a guitar (which we did). There was also quite the collection of VHS tapes!It was an easy drive to the southwest Lassen Visitor Center, and we enjoyed our time at the park and also at some nearby lakes.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was in a perfect location to explore Lassen Volcanic National Park. It was clean, well stocked and had plenty of room for our family to spread out and relax after a great day of hiking.

Showers didn’t function well, just old.Large gaps around windows where room AC units installed. Bugs came in.

Everything that's posted about this property was completely accurate. What they didn't say was the fact that the bed pillows were super fluffy and comfortable. The mattresses were great and we loved the set of towels left on each bed. What I especially loved as a cook was the kitchen. It was extremely well equipped and the cookware was large, perfect for for cooking meals for our group. The 8 seat dining table & outside patio table also worked great for us. We leave shoes at the door so we also appreciated the clean floors. Beautiful patio, beautiful surroundings, everything was just great!
