About this house rental
Spectacular views and all 5-star reviews make this home a great escape! Whether you are here to fly fish, hike or to simply relax in mountain beauty, this home has everything you need! It’s the perfect couples getaway to enjoy nature in a very inviting atmosphere. This redecorated 1,300 sq. ft. home with large windows and open floor plan has a “cool modern vibe” and a magical feel featuring 2 larger bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Updated furniture, flooring and portable air conditioning units complete this home for Lake City enthusiasts.
The master bedroom and large en-suite bathroom have full mountain views from multiple large windows. Linger in the new king sized bed (with new portable A/C unit!)with a cup of coffee and watch the sun come up on the mountains for a full vacation experience! Oversized master is the perfect getaway and extra living area with 2 recliners for reading, napping or watching tv. There are 2 separate closets for ample storage for an extended stay.
The totally private vaulted upstairs suite has a queen sized bed and its own bathroom with walk-in shower. It’s a secluded quiet room with 2 large windows, an air conditioner and ceiling fan for perfect summer sleeping. A large closet and extra storage for suitcases keeps everything uncluttered and organized.
The roomy open kitchen faces the mountains and has barstool seating, updated appliances, a gas cook top and every cooking tool needed for making any type of meal. Mixing bowls, serving dishes, plates and glasses are in abundant supply. There’s an adjoining pantry for extra food storage. Common spices, miscellaneous condiments and paper goods are supplied. The dining table expands for additional seating with its own rocky mountain deer trail view.
The living room has a comfortable newer sectional and incredible mountain views to make you feel as if you are constantly outdoors. Come put your feet up and enjoy! The adjoining 550 sq. ft. deck with charcoal grill and seating for 8+ make it perfect for entertaining. Just down the mountain, you can see and hear the river for complete ambiance. End the evening around the large fire pit, watch the stars and plan your adventures for the next day!
The large gravel circle driveway on double lot is perfect for plenty of parking. The back deck is perfect for loading and unloading fishing, hiking and all sporting gear.
The cabin is located just above the river on the edge of town and is a 3-5 minute walk to the Lake City Bakery and Country Store Grocery. The location is very quiet, yet extremely convenient! A nice hike is just above the house at Crystal Larsen trailhead. See nature and wildlife at its finest anywhere you look!

This little gem was perfect for our visit to Lake City for the Uncorked Wine and Music Festival. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen well appointed with everything we needed to prepare meals. The water was cold and clear and delicious to drink. Hot water in the showers too!
Beautiful windows facing the mountains and really cute, eclectic furnishing and bright art pieces on the walls. We had a perfect relaxing week topped off with the festival. We all had such a great time!

This is a two suite property that accommodates two couples or a couple with two to three children well.
We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit in the evenings and drinking coffee and eating on the deck. Access is great, you can park right at the side and walk right onto the deck or park below and use the stairs.
It's right on the edge of town and we had deer in the yard every day to watch!
Riding our side by sides in and out was also a big plus.
Communication with the host before during and after our stay was great, We would rent again.
