About this house rental
This privately owned brick house has been a family treasure. The home features original oak trim, cabinetry and flooring. The floor tile in the foyer and upstairs bathroom are all inlaid and original. Furnishings and decor make the home cozy and inviting. This house is able to accomodate family or friend gatherings and reunions, yet offer quiet time and relaxation.
There is a large front open porch for visiting with family and friends or sipping your favorite beverage. The back yard is spacious and guests can enjoy a meal on the patio or a sit next to the fire pit.
Located in the rolling hills of southern Wisconsin, the village of New Glarus hosts several festivals throughout the year. Visitors can enjoy the ethnic foods and local entertainment. The guest house is located within walking distance of the downtown area which offers shopping and many fine Swiss/German restaurants. The Sugar River Bike Trail is also located near the guest house as is the popular New Glarus Brewery.

4 college friends from 3 states getting together to share old and new stories!! This was the perfect spot to hang out and just a short walk to the amazing town of New Glarus!! Jane is an amazing host and it was great to actually meet her when we checked out this morning!!! She has thought of everything and the history of the house is truly amazing!!!
