Enjoy a relaxing vacation in this beautiful cabin overlooking Brush Creek. Just minutes from Ontario, canoeing, Wildcat State Park, Kickapoo Valley Reserve and the Elroy-Sparta Bike Trail.

You'll find a slower paced lifestyle in Ontario, come enjoy rural Wisconsin while staying in our well equipped home nestled into the hillside. Take the winding driveway up the hill from Highway 33 and you'll find the cabin with parking directly in front of the house for 2 vehicles. Sitting on the deck you'll have a view of the valley below including Brush Creek.
Inside the open floor plan offers a large space to sprawl out or have a cozy family dinner. The full size kitchen with concrete countertops and stainless steel appliances is an inviting place to cook dinner. An enclosed loft upstairs offers a private bedroom with a window looking into the forest. While the downstairs bedroom offers easy access to the living space and bathroom.
We are able to keep costs low and without a cleaning fee due to the great guests we have. Guests are responsible for leaving the cabin how they found it. A check-out list is provided in our Welcome Book (at the cabin) to ensure our cleaning staff only have to launder the linens and tidy up the cabin. This allows us to have a quick turn-around period for our next guests.

Crowe's Cabin is best enjoyed by folks who are fully accessible. To access the cabin you must walk up a slightly inclined parking area and stairs (as shown in the photos).
Crowe's Cabin is owned by Crowe's Cabin, LLC. The cabin is licensed by the State of Wisconsin. Vernon County Health Department requires single use condiments, thus we are not able to provide bulk spices, condiments, coffee or tea.

We absolutely loved this property. It is very clean and comfortable. It's right off the highway but set back far enough that you feel like you are isolated. You can hear some road noise if you sit outside, but I'll take it for the view and comfort. Plus it's still wayyyyy less noisy than in town. Plan to be unplugged. There is wi-fi, but it cuts in and out which was not a big deal for us at all. We brought DVDs to entertain us at night, and it worked well enough to pull up google maps and directions. The location is fantastic. Easy access to many different little towns or outdoor activities. There was a deer family that visited the field every night. An excellent place for bird watching also. We had a rainy, stormy weekend and had beautiful view of the lightning show over the next bluff. We lost power for a second, but it came right back on.The heating and cooling was very nice. The bed was very comfortable too. We will be back. It was a great long weekend away from the City.

The view! The birds singing! Deer, rabbits and a cute skunk way out in the field were all fun to watch. The cabin had everything we needed.Thee dvd player didnt work but Amanda quickly had one delivered to us!The beds were amazing! It rained and stormed almost all 5 days but we were safe and comfy. Cabin is spacious and has plenty of comfortable furniture for several people to lounge around. Played lots of games. Did some reading. Walked down to the creek several times to watch ducks and cows. 2 good restaurants in town.Wildcat Mountain State Park is beautiful.Ate too much Amish bakery goods Took lots of drives in the beautiful hills and valleys.Had a little emergency the 1st night and ended up in La Crosse at the ER. They were fantastic and took care of everything quickly. We're older and after this adventure we decided knowing a great ER isn't too far away is important
