We love Bright & Cozy. We stayed last year and this year the owner had already made some wonderful changes. Kitchen is like new. Two nice bathrooms, 4 bedrooms with plenty of room. Huge, spacious, screened porch facing lake with table and chairs, BIG screen tv, huge overhead fan and smaller oscillating fan. TV i.ln most bedrooms. Tons of games. Access to walk right into lake of beautiful, white sandy beach. Great for adults and children. Local restaurant "Gator Joe's " right on water within walking distance. We loved it and will schedule again next year

The house needs a good cleaning. We had to clean the bathrooms before using, shower curtains need to be replaced as they are filthy, refrigerator had dried up spill on bottom, floors were also very dirty. I do have pictures to show some of the dirtiness in the house. Also, one of the bedrooms bed frame was broken, so we picked up inflatable bed to use during our stay. We also were locked out of house coming back to house at night due to battery on keypad needing to be changed. Property manager/owner phone number on VRBO reservation did not answer text or call. We called VRBO and they gave us a different phone number for owner after they also tried to call owner without luck. After continuous dialing we finally got hold of owner who said he would see what he could do! What? We are renting his place and couldn't get in! I think he thought we didn't know how to use keypad because he told me he has never had any issues. Anyway, owner showed up and was also unable to get keypad to work. He did eventually get us back into house by breaking into a key lock box attached to wall. This house has a lot of potential. Some of the upgrades are really nice, but everything is dirty. Outside screened porch is wonderful to sit out and enjoy the beautiful view of lake. Hammocks under the trees are a great touch and were enjoyed. A valid working emergency number in case of emergency should be provided. Renters should not have to call VRBO or police to get help with a keypad issue. We stood outside for about an hour with an infant and kids, not fun!
