Great base for Brussels if you don't want to be right in the centre of the city

The staff were very accommodating and the location for public transport is spot on bus and tram are across the road and metro station access ( using entrance/ exit 4) is only a few steps outside the front door. The hotel is very much a budget hotel but as a base for a city break it was great bed was comfortable, 24 hour access daily towels and access to TV stations in a variety of countries and languagesn

We were in room 41 and it was a little cramped to get past the foot of the bed as it was close to the sliding door for the bathroom. The door to the bathroom was really stiff to slide The curtains on the window let a lot of the streetlight in.

It is so disgusting and scared to find the bed bug on the bed.

The bed is hard. The water is leaking. The room is noisy that I couod hardly fall asleep. The most disgusting is that I found two bed bugs on my bad at the last night of I stay. It is so disgusting and I am too scared to sleep on the bae, although the staff change the room for me. The staff said they do not have an empty room when I first report the bed bug. Untill I dumped the bug's body in front of him，him started to call someone, and I got a new room. Obviously, he lied to me at the first time 😡

Horrible! Unsafe! Unclean.

My room was unclean, pillows had unpleasant fish and chips smell! Hair on bed duvets, pillows were uncomfortable, room was so tiny and felt suffocated. The lamp nor the WiFi worked. There were no facilities such as kettle or fan. Bathroom was very basic. The stairs and corridor going up to my room to the top floor was dirty and the lift did not work. Very noisey floors, thin walls. The environment sounded, felt abd appeared like a night club/brothel. I booked to stay 3 nights but made a booking to another, different hotel much nicer, cleaner, family and business hotel and much closer to the town centre and in safer area.

Overall good, but wasn't expecting much

Noise: if window is left open due to room being smelly and also to allow some air in, traffic from the street nearby is unbearable. Breakfast is good somewhat, but expect a long wait to be served, orange juice at times served at times not served.

At check in there was no internet so couldn't pay, then paid via the booking.com app. Paid for breakfast seperately the night before check out, was promised an invoice the day after (not at point of payment) but I never received this invoice despite having sent them an online message via booking.com

Uncomfortable and disappointing.

The location was good, with the Metro right in front of the Hotel. Most of the staff were helpful and polite.

They had messed up my reservation, so even though they gave me a double room on the first night, I had to change rooms the following day, which was inconvenient. The room was small and uncomfortable. It had a persistent smoke-like smell. The pillow was terrible, and it was just all rather dated and uncomfortable. Furthermore, I didn't feel fully safe/comfortable in the area.

Wouldn’t stay here again

When we arrived, we were given our room keys and went up to the rooms. The noise from the roads outside was very loud. All through the night, we could hear the trams, horns beeping, and there is a manhole cover on the road that sounds like shooting when it’s been driven over. Made for an awful nights sleep. The curtains were very thin, not great if you wanted to lie in. The bed sheets had old make up on them. The staff were not the most helpful either. The advert said air con - there was none. You had to go downstairs to get the remotes for the TV. The cafe/bar didn’t actually do anything, felt like a waste of that area. You had to ask for a fridge, there isn’t one in the room like the advert suggests. We had booked for two nights, but after the first terrible night, we booked another hotel and moved. It’s also a bit out of the way from things like the Grand Place. Overall, we were really disappointed and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Quiet and comfortable place

One of the best hotels in Brussels, I travel a lot to brussels for work, and yes as they are hotels, but this one I will not change, very clean room, super comfortable bed, shower, bathroom, open 24h, very friendly and helpful staff, finally found a quiet place.

Quite rude staff. They didn’t accept cash and could not provide any advice where to change 500-euro bills. The guy in the supermarket was more hospitable and informed me where it could be done.

Hotel offers acceptable accommodation for short stays.

Room was acceptable and included everything needed e.g. bedding, towels and fully equipped private bathroom.

Quite noisy as hotel is located next to public transport (which can be an advantage as well). Although clean, stains were visible on the linen and duvet had no duvet cover over it. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but very limited English vocabulary.

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room, comfortable bed, possibility to leave the luggage before check-in, and when leaving we also left our things there is a modern room where we were able to work on the computer in peace and quiet.

Exceptional

Awesome, gritty neighborhood, really close to the subway, the tram, and several busses. Great pizza right across the street too. It was a good "home base" for our stay in Brussels.

There was a yelling lady downstairs late at night both nights. Maybe arguing with her bf or husband?? But the price was right, so no big deal.
