Sweett - The Roca House

The smart key system worked perfectly. I have heard many horror stories from friends that have struggled to gain access to properties in the past because the owner had used cheap systems. The access was smooth and easy to use. We had a direct line of contact with the property managers who were responsive - this is rare and very welcome. We also received a gift of some groceries and wine during our stay which was a really lovely and appreciated touch.

The images on the website did not match our exact apartment - they were just example images of apartments in the block. It would have been nice to see our exact accomodation before we booked as 3 of the bedrooms were internal did not have windows. The bathrooms were also very small and are in need to updating.

The property was spacious and had all the utilities we needed for a long weekend. It was central to all we planned to do and found the metro super easy to use in order to get to each place.

The pictures are slightly different and it could do with a freshen up with paint. The balcony was smaller than what we anticipated from the photos which was a shame however we adapted quickly and found solutions to our ideas.

The shower needs to be a bit more better as the water was flowing into the dry area.

The location of the apartment was very convenient! Metro station was near by, city center 20mins walk. The broken shower handle was changed for the new one quite quickly which we really appreciated. Their customer service representatives answers quickly and are helpful, although sometimes you talk to AI, so if not satisfied with the reaction, ask for human colleague to get in touch. We also liked the welcome pack we were given by the apartment owner. I also would like to mention their Sweett aplication which is well designed and understandable, als well as it was clear what and how much we still need to pay (the refundable deposit + tourist tax). The buidling and apartment doors open and close thru the app code which we found quite comfortable.

The apartment's shape we stayed in (The Roca House, Principal 2) was very far away from how it looks in the pictures they share. I can believe that every client who visited this place can say that. The real shape of the place is quite bad and used, it needs a lot of maintenance too be done inside of the rooms and bathrooms, in my opinion. Not sure what was the idea when building two bathrooms inside while only one batroom is convenient to be used, space wise. Both bathrooms offer very small space while one of them is almost for no usage, even kids were having issues to fit in there. It's very difficult to close the doors while going to the toilet and the wash-bowl is without any practical use (very small!). The last think to mention for the bathroom - whose idea was it to install a water-saving faucet for the wash-bowl?! This is a first time we experienced something like that. Perhaps I would understand to have it offered for the shower, but for the bathroom sink?? As for the cleanliness of the whole place, this is also something you should focus on more. The most clear where the linnens and kitchenware. However the cleanliness of each room, floors and the towels we got, was something I would avoid calling clean. We were offered it of quite bad condition. There are four bedrooms, three with double-beds, one with single bed. Three have window towards the wall, one double-bed room has window leading to dinning area. None of these four bedrooms can be adequately ventilated, no AC only ceiling fan in each of them. One AC is for the living room and halway only. The owner should offer their clients exactly what they are ordering and paying for—what they can expect based on the photos available to them when deciding to book this accommodation. Since the photos fail to accurately reflect the apartment's actual condition, clients end up unnecessarily disappointed—and sometimes even repulsed—by the place where they spend some of their holiday time.
