About this apartment rental
My duplex apartment is in a contemporary building in the hippest neighborhood of Bangkok. The compact loft space features soaring ceilings with urban city views and a little balcony. It is comfortable for a solo traveler or a couple. The apartment is equipped with a kitchenette, washer and dryer, microwave, water cooker, tableware, bedding, towels, and reliable, fast Wifi. It is discreetly furnished with design pieces. Effective blinds block out the sunlight when you want to get over your jet lag.
The apartment is on the 9th floor of a 10 floor building, has underground parking, a small but gorgeous infinity pool, well-equipped gym (weight and cardio equipment), a huge recreation room with billiard and comfy sofas. Friendly security personnel guard the well-kept compound and during daytime there's a doorman in the lobby.
The building is just steps away from BTS skytrain station Thonglor.
A huge selection of great international restaurants, hip bars, shops, and relaxed cafes are nearby, some in walking distance. This neighborhood is home to the creative class of Bangkokians.

I stayed at "Complact Duplex - Thonglor" for three months, and I'm pleased that I did. It's not actually in the busy Thonglor neighborhood but just across Sukhumvit on the much quieter Soi 38, which has little traffic and terrific steetfood vendors, where I had dinner many nights a week. When you go home at the end of the day (or evening), you will feel like you are leavng the hustle and bustle of the city. The BTS is a quick walk or tuk tuk ride (provided by the building) away. I usually walked--it's five minutes. The building staff is friendly. The gym is well-equipped. The pool is small and shaded but very nice on a hot day. The hosts, Eva and Chai, were very responsive and helpful. I'm happy that I stayed here. Highly recommended.
