Newly Refurbished Flat - SM Novella

We had a great stay, big suite with lots of room. Walkable to most activities and safe area. There was some construction next door which started early in the morning but that is unavoidable. I would recommend to stay when visiting Florence.

We had a great stay in Florence. Our host was very friendly, helpful, and even assisted us with getting our luggage up the stairs when we arrived, which we really appreciated.The apartment is up one flight of stairs, which was very manageable, even with luggage.The location is ideal, especially if you’re using Florence as a home base for day trips like we did. It’s a quick walk to both the bus and train station, which made getting around incredibly easy. There was also a small market around the corner on the weekends and a nearby green space, which was a nice bonus.One of our favorite parts was how close it was to the Arno River—about a 5-minute walk. We loved walking along the water and taking in the views of the bridges.The apartment itself was comfortable and functional. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and spacious, and we were able to do laundry and dry our clothes on a rack, which was very convenient. The washing machine worked great, and the kitchen was well-equipped for anything we needed.Overall, a great, comfortable place in a really convenient location.

The apartment was comfortable, well equipped and within walking distance of the train station and within walking distance of most of the sights of Florence.There are plenty of places close by for lunch and dinner or just a coffee. Grocery shops are also plentiful and close by. The only negative is construction noise from behind the apartment which occurs between 7:30 and 16:00 during the week. As we were out for most of this time it did not affect us. In summary, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Our thanks to Daniel who was very helpful and informative, especially about the art history of Florence.

We had such a nice stay! Communication with Daniel prior to arrival was great. He met us at the apartment when we arrived to show us around and answer any questions. Daniel checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was perfect. And it was! The apartment was clean and comfortable and it had everything we needed. The bed was great and the shower was awesome. I travel A LOT for work and judge hotels on their beds, shower heads and towels. All 3 categories receive highest marks in my opinion! I would put this apartment up against any 5-star hotel! Maybe not as glamorous or luxurious as a 5-star hotel, but every bit as comfortable. Also- we cooked dinner 2 nights in the apartment and found the kitchen and its amenities to have everything we needed. Wifi worked great and the location is perfect! Close to the train station, so you don't have to drag your bags too far, and an easy walk to everything that we wanted to see. We searched VRBO apartments for weeks before deciding on this one. Don't waste your time- we've done the research for you. This is your best option in Florence. Enjoy and Happy Travels!
