This beautiful 5 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 story, sleeps 10. Lots of room and the perfect vacation rental experience at an elevation of 4800ft. This log cabin is what everyone pictures in their head when they want to come to the mountains and stay. Full kitchen, fireplace, washer, dryer, dishwasher. Cable TV/DVD/ Wi-Fi. Fireplace/woodstove, wood provided to supplement heat.
Beautifully appointed. Located in Mi-Wuk village just 20 minutes from Dodge Ridge, Pinecrest Lake, Leland Snow Play, Black Oak Casino, Columbia State Park. minutes from Lyons reservoir. 60 minutes from Yosemite National Park.

CLEANING:
We have always and will continue to use clorox, lysol cleaners, sprays, and laundry sanitizer, vinegar, bleach as appropriate for each surface type. Our crews wear protective masks and gloves! We have always taken great care to protect our guests! You should leave it tidy, rinsed dishes go into dishwasher so there's no ants etc. Cabins sheets, blankets and towels stay at the cabin. The crew does the rest.

Let me start off by saying the property manager Darlene was great. Courteous and responsive. The cabin looks much better in the pics than it is. Things are a bit old. The biggest problem we had was getting the heat upstairs to work. The unit that heats the upstairs is literally right above your head in one of the upstairs bedrooms. It is so loud you cannot sleep with it on. We froze. Slept in sweats and sweatshirts. The ad shows 2 bedrooms with two twin beds. That was not the case. There was only one. I understand Covid changed a lot of things for this industry but there is nothing but minimal salt and pepper. Be sure to bring your own spices, dish soap (both for the dishwasher and liquid soap) no sponges either. I have stayed in a few VRBO cabins and this one would probably get a “C” rating. The fireplace was great ! As a family we had a great time but not sure I would recommend this property for the price we paid. Thank you Darlene ! You were great. Location was good if you want to go to Dodge Ridge or Leland Meadows.

We spent a weekend in cabin #19 for a weekend snow trip. The cabin is very clean and had lots of room for our guests. The wood stove made the cabin nice a warm. Has full kitchen, with most kitchen tools you would have at home. The upper level is a little noisy when walking around. But it's fine during the sleeping hours, when no one is moving around. I liked that it had separated options for sleeping, and there's a bathroom on both levels. The host was very responsive and polite to my questions. She provided so much cabin/check in detail that I missed a few things (my fault), but she didn't seem to mind when I reached out. My kids enjoyed having their own space to hang out/sleep. I would stay here again.

I recently stayed at this charming cottage, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. While the cottage itself is a bit old, it is very nice and exceptionally clean. It was fully equipped with everything we needed and well-prepared for our arrival. The neighborhood is also quite lovely—clean, peaceful, and quiet, making it a great place to relax. I would definitely recommend this place to others looking for a cozy and well-kept stay.

Kitchen sink drain, dishwasher, garbage disposal problems.Kitchen sink backed up with water/food debris, time to drain (1/2hour or more)Refrigerator, ice cube maker not functioning, Food/Drinks NOT kept cold. Front Door deadbolt difficult to lock.Location of "good" kitchen knives, hand soap, hard to find.Hot water turned up too high for bathrooms & kitchen.Minimal towels in frequently used downstairs bathroom.Minimal amount of toilet paper for party of six persons, 3 nights. Upstairs & downstairs Air-conditioning inadequate.Heaters operating in "WINTER" mode. Swamp cooler worked for 1 upstairs bedroom, Noise extremely irritating, several people had difficulty sleeping & left early.2 upstairs bedrooms, so hot they were difficult to inhabit.Air-Condition unit upstairs did NOT appear to be functioning at optimum. Upstairs toilet flushed 1/2 time, intermittently filling the tank. took the lid off and giggled unit, to get tank to fill. Then flush later. No Air Conditioner downstairs.Air-Conditioning non-existent in the downstairs bedroom.

The place was pretty much as advertised. The new reality with post-covid rentals is that there are essentially no condiments outside salt and pepper, so bring your own. The electric stove was problematic as the two burners stopped working while we were cooking. Discovered they were not plugged in all the way and that fixed it. Left only two dishwasher pods, not really enough for a large group staying for 3 nights if they cooked a lot. Rental agreement says 3 cars maximum. If this place had the maximum number of guests, parking limit could be a challenge. FYI, you could easily fit 4 cars in the driveway. The door leading out from the laundry room looked like it had not been cleaned since last year. Also unsightly piles of debris were left on patio areas. Good binder with recommendations on dining and activities. Would have liked instructions on how to operate TV/cable.

We had a wonderful time at this cozy stay! The cabin comfortably housed 7 adults for our Thanksgiving weekend. The kitchen was well stocked and large enough to support several people preparing a large meal. The wood stove was wonderful and complemented the incredibly cozy atmosphere in the living room. The cabin was a short drive away from some beautiful hikes.

Property was great. Great location. Had one small issue. No sheets. Contacted the property manager. Problem solved in less than an hour. Very responsive. Everyone enjoyed the weekend. This property had plenty of beds for our gathering of friends to surprise our son on his 25th birthday. The young adults came in on Saturday morning and stayed until Sunday. The dining table was big enough that we were able to play games and the living room was great for other games. It was a fun place to gather.

We thoroughly enjoyed this cabin. It was exactly what a cabin should look and feel like! It was just our family of 5, but would have easily fit another family! The kitchen and living room has a great layout and the bedrooms were great. Would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at this cabin. We were fortunate enough to experience some snow. Loved sitting at the table near the sliding glass doors watching as deer walked by. Beds were comfortable. The cabin was very cozy & welcoming. We would recommend it to anybody wanting to enjoy nature at its best. Loved being so close to shopping & restaurants. Our only complaint was the stove is very unreliable. Burners don't work as they should & the oven made it difficult for the turkey to cook. Really should be replaced.

The location was perfect for our stay. The house was clean, plenty of room for me and my family (8 adults) everyone was comfortable. The cabin was in the perfect location for as well stores, restaurants, deli’s & gas stations were close as well.

Photos are outdated. Different furniture, different decor. Lighting is poor and most shades are broken. Some listed amenities including the blender didn't work. Floor was filthy and we ended up mopping while we were there since we all got black feet while cooking in the kitchen. Stove top burners were finicky and not all functioning. Air conditioning is a false statement. There were a couple portable ones upstairs that make no difference and the house holds heat all night long. Not enough towels given so you have to do laundry. Tv setup pretty old and you're limited to what's on the local guide. White carpets and we found the vacuum hidden away as we were leaving, never got a chance to use it though we wanted to. Pretty uncomfortable. Deck shows umbrella and cushions on chair but neither were provided. Seating is a little more limited than photos show, but somehow feels more crowded. Lighting is all dim. Trump flag hanging in the garage window if that's your thing. Pros: fridge is large, decks are nice when it's not too hot. Good selection of dishes, pots and pans. Washer and dryer work well. Bed downstairs was comfortable. Shower and baths worked well. Location is about 15-20 minutes from the city or the lake. Wifi allows for cell service. I could see this location being much nicer in a milder season.

We loved this cabin. There were 6 adults 2 teenagers we all fit comfortable. We had the best time as a family. My husband and I took my daughter granddaughter neice and great neices and nephew so much fun . I wanted a place that felt like a cabin and this fit everything I wanted and more. We will be renting again. Thank you so much for these precious memories.

Beautiful cabin! My family and close friends stayed the weekend for my son’s 14th birthday. The locals are friendly (check out Andy’s Mountain Deli!) and it’s close to Dodge Ridge (where we skied all day!) Very comfortable and Darlene is an excellent host!

My family and I really enjoyed the cabin. Darlene was an excellent host and extremely responsive! The location is great and is a short drive away great food spots (highly recommend Alicia's Sugar Shack, short 2 min drive) and locations like Pinecrest Lake and Dodge Ridge Ski Resort. Looking forward to future stays.

This property was spacious and had plenty of sleeping space for our blended family of 8. The heater downstairs was great but the heating upstairs was another story. We had to rely on space heaters for the upstairs and one in the wall in one of the rooms. The main space heater did not function properly so we just bundled up extra, and some of the kids slept downstairs on the couches. The upstairs bathroom was as cold as a freezer too, so the midnight bathroom run was torture. The cabin was fully stocked with all the utensils, plates, pots and pans we needed. We did need to bring our own garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels and soaps for dishes and hands. There were no trash cans inside the cabin at all, so we had to keep all of our garbage bags hanging in the kitchen. They did have plenty of DVDs to choose from for entertainment. And there was also plenty of seating for everyone. Some of the dining chairs were a little wobbly and our daughter fell and hit her head when one broke. Overall the cabin was a good place to stay. Spacious and in a good area. We would prepare with extra blankets in case the heaters are not fixed for a future stay.

We had the most delightful stay here! My husband and I and our two sons and their wives rendezvoused here for an extended weekend. We wanted to visit our old camping spots up Hwy 108 and also visit Pinecrest Lake, but this time in comfort! We were not disappointed. The cabin was every bit as cozy as it is in the photos, and all our needs were met. The kitchen was completely stocked with utensils, and the beds, furniture were very comfortable. The premises were very clean. The host clearly stated what items are supplied and identified what we needed to bring. The wifi was fast, too! The weather was very hot, but the hose had provided fans to make us comfortable. We look forward to staying here again soon.

The cabin itself was very nice cosmetically. I wouldn’t recommend renting this cabin in summer. It’s extremely hot. Over 90 degrees downstairs. Upstairs was a entire other level of heat. A portable cooler is located upstairs but it needed to be repaired several times over the stay with hvac tape. The hose on the back would fall off and hot air would be pumped back into the home. We had to buy fans and a high powered blower to survive. I will factor in the heat wave for the area at the time of stay. I was aware I needed to bring paper towels, garbage bags and toilet paper. But there are no garbage cans in the kitchen or bathrooms. We did have a small issue with a leak in the upstairs bathroom forcing 10 people to use one toilet for a day but maintenance was sent out quickly and was extremely kind.
