Très beau Riad à Casablanca Quartier proche du Port. Décoration et ameublement à la Marocaine gage de confort et de dépaysement Possibilité de se restaurer sur place. Cuisine Marocaine savoureuse pleine de saveurs et de saveurs. Très bon accueil par les propriétaires qui sont à l écoute et toujours souriants. Je recommande cet établissement S.Bķ

L'appartement est un peu froid en hiver. Une petite bouilloire électrique serait bienvenue. Le matelas 'etait pas assez confortable

A peaceful haven in a perfect location, made unforgettable by the warmth of its hosts. Despite our late arrival, Majid and his family greeted us with open arms and even prepared a home-cooked meal so we wouldn’t go to bed hungry — a gesture that set the tone for the rest of our stay. We stayed in the lower-level apartment, beautifully decorated in the traditional style once reserved for special family occasions. Every detail felt steeped in culture and care. Majid later took us on a fascinating bicycle tour through Casablanca, tracing the city’s layered history of conquests and cultural evolution. His passion for his hometown is contagious — we couldn’t imagine exploring it with anyone else. One of my favourite memories was learning to make Friday couscous with Majid’s wonderful mother, Rabia. Though she spoke no English and I spoke no French or Arabic, her grandson joined us after school to translate. What began as a cooking lesson became a shared moment of connection — laughter, food, and love all speaking the same language. We later discovered that the family also runs another guesthouse in their Berber village of Tiout, where we were lucky enough to join them again. That experience was every bit as raw, genuine, and soul-stirring as the first — a glimpse into real Moroccan life, far from the tourist trail. To the curious traveller, do enquire if your plans are flexible — it’s well worth the journey. We will never forget our time with you, Majid. Until we meet again, inshallah. Shukran Guma. 🙏🫶
