The view was really excellent straight at Eiger , close to the train - Bergbahn Grund Station, warm at rooms, breakfast was really nice, personal also. Parking was just under the rooms, very convenient.

There was a lot of construction going on while we were there and it started at 7am right outside our window.

Great breakfast and staff, price should be dropped further until renovations are complete.

Breakfast was fantastic and room had a wonderful view over the mountains. Showers had hot water all the time and a comfortable bed.

Property is currently undergoing renovations. I arrived late at night when it was dark and it was difficult to find the reception area. The property gave a voucher saying if you came back in 2026 you would get a small discount but this felt poor especially as I had travelled from Australia to be here.

Amazing mountain views and great breakfast 😊

A modern minimalistic hotel with a good sized room, modern with wow views of the mountains. The small table and chairs were appreciated. Complimentary chocolate and iced tea were a nice surprise. Location was fantastic, a short walk to the Eiger express, supermarket and bus.

It was disappointing that views of the mountains were obstructed by neighbouring buildings. Also no fridge was provided.

This hotel is located near the train station making our journey much more convenient. And the staff here are super friendly! We got gifts when checked in and checked out. The room is clean and comfortable with a nice view! And the breakfast is good.😊

Nice location and a comfortable stay in Grindelwald!

I like the breakfast area, this is the area to eat breakfast and we had our simple dinner the first night when arriving the hotel. I like the hotel has laundry area which is very helpful for me to wash my dirty clothes and I have met some friendly people there!

Overall it is a really comfortable stay for me and my family. We enjoyed our stay. Will return.

The location is superb if your main goal is to visit the jungfrau. It is next to the grindelwald terminal train station and cable cars. There is also buses near by to go to the city centre. The room is newly renovated, very modern. The staffs are very friendly and helpful as well. Breakfast has a range of choices, not much but enough.

Only thing I didn’t like is there isn’t a door for the shower which makes it very inconvenient for a family of four. Also, water from the shower could easily flow out to the toilet area.

Short stay as we were doing the Via Alpina I trail. It was good but don’t think tha on going construction favored our st

So we booked a room with a view and were advised about on going renovation work. But we had the construction site just next to the window with on going work at the same level as the room. Including construction cranes. Think it was a bit cheeky. The response from the staff was “you still have a great view”.

Stunning View! Great Location!

Love the awesome view of the mountains! Great location! Close proximity to Grindelwald Terminal station with trains. Cosy rooms with simple breakfast provided. Very friendly staff too. We enjoyed using the dining area for meals.

Pillow was too soft and there is no mirror in the main room. Only a small wall mounted one at the washbasin.

Hotel with a beautiful scenery

Close proximity to the Terminal with near by shops and a supermarket. The view is worth 10/10. Staff were helpful and kind. Parking is easy and spacious. Breakfast quality was good despite not a lot of choices. But fresh and clean is most important for us.

The 2 things that irritates us is the start of construction work at 6.55am??? I was rudely awakened by the knocking and constantly hammering until we can’t get a peaceful sleep. Bear in mind it’s summer time without air con in the room and we had to open the balcony for fresh air to come in, the noises from the workers were so annoying. You can renovate for sure. But not at 6.55am. Can’t you start at 8am or later? Secondly, the wifi doesn’t work! We tried 20 times on and off during 2 nights stay and it couldn’t work. We texted the hotel as there’s no phone in the room and each time we want something, we have to travel all the way down. I did inform the hotel and they simple says it’s the provider. That’s not a good solution you come up with. We gave up trying as it’s a waste of time and we ended up using a lot of our own data.

Be aware of Mountain View with balcony choice

Nice location and close to Grindelwald terminal. The room space is big enough for a couple. Having balcony is nice.

I booked Mountain View with balcony and expected the view shown like booking.com while turns out we had 1st floor room which the view is totally blocked by the grey building. Only 3rd floor room can see the view without blocking, and it disappoints me as I could book a better choice. Be careful if you book here because of its view, it is not guaranteed. The Lounge (fridge/microwave) is in the separate building which is not convenient. The breakfast choice is very standard one. The bathroom has no door so be aware if you are coming with friends.

Excellent stay will visit again!

Staff is amazing, they had everything ready. We had requested a cot for our 9 month old. Very helpful staff from the reception to the dining ro. Very accommodating, and the location is great! Will visit again!

The headboard is not soft, so for a baby jumping on the bed was a bit tough. But then again babies are not supposed to jump on the bed !

Very Nice

The hotel was nice, clean with a nice view, next to the hotel there was a grill bar where you can go to have a drink and eat and a nice roof top with a nice view The staff was friendly and helpful. If you're in the area and want to stay somewhere, I recommend it.

Practical and cozy in a great location in Grindelwald

- Location is literally next to the train and bus terminals so you can easily go wherever you need to. - Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable - Breakfast was actually good, the basics are covered + some others so can't complain - Staff was veey attentive and helpful, supporting at your disposal

Overall there are no real complains, everything was very nice. If I would want to be picky to help improve experience my 2 cents would be: - Put a mirror in the room, my wife was struggling trying to get ready without mirror as it only available in the bathroom but if the other person is using it then you would have to wait. - There is no extractor im the bathroom (at least I was not able to find it) hence you can infer that it kind of uncomfortable for some time - Would be nice to have a mini night table next to each side of the bed

The best view I've ever seen

One of the best hotel rooms I've staid in my whole life. It's simple yet has everything that you need. The view is absolutely stunning and there's not many places in the world you can have that. Hotel is located super close to where you get the cable car to the mountains and the bus to the city center. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I recommend the chic rooms 100%, loved our stay.

From chic room with the huge shower and free breakfast, this place felt pretty fancy!

The chic rooms are excellent and extremely clean. Breakfast is lovely and the staff are so nice.

The communal kitchen is really small and under equipped. We ended up having to buy take out because we couldn’t cook our food.

Superb

The room was exceptional for being considered a hostel, we did get the 2 person room and it was very similar to a hotel. The breakfast in the morning was a good variety, and the staff was very helpful and kind.

The hostel is located about a 25 minute walk from the main square, but you could take a 4 minute train or the free bus to get you there, so this wasn't a big deal. I also didn't love that the floors were concrete instead of wood or carpet, it wasn't very comfortable to walk on.
