Boots Cottage

Lovely cottage - very clean, had everything we wanted and was in a great location. We enjoyed walking along the canal path and lots of lovely places just a short drive away. Helen and Andy were really welcoming and very helpful. The cream tea was delicious and a wonderful treat! Thank you!

Great communication with hosts. Cottage was lovely. Its small, but very comfortable and cosy, hosts have thought of everything you need with some nice little extras added to make you feel welcome. Great location - quiet and surrounded by countryside, but close to Bude and local beaches. Loved the tow path walk to Bude.

This wasnt a dislike, but just a suggestion to spruce up courtyard. Its nice to have a private outdoor space for a coffee/read, but it felt a bit neglected in comparison to the cottage.

A great location where we walked the canal path each day into Bude. The stay was comfortable with all facilities included. What ever you needed, you could find. The hosts were very helpful and quick with comms. Great views from all windows and a lovely garden backing onto the canal. I loved the seagull blinds. I noticed others saying the drive way was tight but I found no issue reverse parking into the cottage (SUV vehicle) perhaps as we are from Devon we are used to narrow roads already. Will be booking again for next year.

My husband fancied a pint but no pint glasses in the cupboard so we bought one and have left it there for others to enjoy. The tv was small and as the weather was poor the first day/ eve we were watching films but a bigger, smart tv would easily fit and improve people’s stay I think.
