2 Bedroom Cottage - Walk to the beach in 2 minutes

The cottage was charming and the pictures don't do it justice. It has been beautifully remodeled, and decorated. The location is fabulous! Just a short walk to Higgins Beach. I've made many trips to the Portland area over the last 40 years and this may be my new favorite place. So much to see and do nearby....we went to an adorable lobster shack on Blackpoint road and ordered steamed lobsters to go! We would definately return to the cottage!

From the moment I arrived to spend a few days by myself before my husband joined me, until I tearfully left what had become my new "home", this was one of the best vacations I've ever experienced - regardless of U.S. or Europe! The home was more charming in person than the pictures could ever reveal (and they are great pictures). Beautifully appointed, lovely furnishings, everything I needed, including laundry (what a benefit). A short walk to the beach every morning and evening where a walk a low tide made me cry at the beauty of the Maine coastline. I would recommend this cottage to anyone who is looking for a safe, warm, welcoming environment in a convenient location to the Portland airport, Maine Mall, etc. Eileen (owner) provided great information for finding local points of interest and was very accomodating for my schedule. I love, love, love this place and can't wait to 'go home' again next fall!
