We took a midweek escape with our 11 year old son and had a great time. He loved the marina. He spent a lot of time fishing from it and we took a canoe out two days for fishing along the shore. Unfortunately the fish didn't cooperate on our excursions, but it was still great fun.
The activities (pool, billiards, shuffle board) kept us entertained. We did one hiking trip to Gorges State Park which was ~30 minutes away. Rainbow falls were well worth the moderate hike and the drive was very enjoyable.
But the highlight of our stay was seeing not one, not two, but 5 black bears. We saw two separately and as we were leaving, we saw a momma and 3 little cubs…….so Bear Lake really lives up to its name.
The unit was very nicely furnished and very convenient to the Lake Club/pool/marina. The view from the balcony was amazing! Two things would make this condo five star - replacing pots and pans as they are severely scratched and master bathroom shower needs to be deeply cleaned (multiple spots of black mold).
We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back!

This is our 4th year visiting Bear Lake and 2nd time staying in this home. The home was extremely comfortable and the view is fantastic.

Condo was great overall. Could stand to use some updating, especially the cooking utensils, pots/pans, etc. Very firm mattresses. But THE VIEW and proximity to the lake was what we came for and it did not disappoint. Lake Lodge: We’ve been to Bear Lake many times and always enjoyed the Lake Lodge. This time it seemed to be showing a lot of wear and tear. Garbage piled up, broken chairs and umbrella stands, and the staff were inexperienced. Food and drinks were sub par. Sad.
