Our beach house enjoys horizon ocean views and is a short 1.5-block (four-minute) walk to the beach. Enjoy a private pool, hot tub, pirate ship playground, wrap-around decks, and a landscaped yard. The Dolphin Inn, featured in Money magazine, was recognized for its quintessential beach atmosphere. The Dolphin Inn is pet-friendly, joining many Outer Banks' beaches and businesses.
The Dolphin Inn offers premium amenities like a fully outfitted kitchen, family-friendly gear, a complimentary in-home entertainment package and a guests-only fitness club membership.

The main living area includes a master suite, full kitchen with bar, dining area, and reading corner. The wrap-around decks offer horizon ocean views. The generously appointed kitchen overlooks the welcoming great room with games, 600+ DVD movies, a gas Fireplace, a Large Screen Television with 5.1 channel surround sound and a wide-selection of free movies through NetFlix, Disney+, HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, etc.. The top floor also boasts a King Bedroom with a Private Bathroom and Jacuzzi Tub.
The second floor offers three sunny master bedrooms with private entrances to the wrap-around deck.
The first floor has three bedrooms with bunks and single beds, laundry, a full bath, an outdoor shower, and a Game Room.
Amenities include Free Wireless Internet, Golf Club membership privileges at the local Kilmarlic Golf Course, Gym, Olympic pool, pickleball, and tennis privileges at the WestSide Athletic Club, free boat launching privileges at a nearby Marina, and additional free tennis at nearby SSCA tennis courts. Our family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed staying at Dolphin Inn. The house, though not new was well maintained and very clean. We’ve been staying at VRBO type places for over 10 years. Everything about the Dolphin Inn made it one of the best places we have ever stayed. Most places have the bare minimum when it comes to kitchen appliances/settings/utensils, etc. The Dolphin Inn had more than we had at our own homes. Their TV/AV setup was the best I’ve ever seen - in just about every room!! Unless you have a special DVD that you want to bring from home, their selection of DVD movies was amazing, seemed like a thousand or more. The pool was very clean and was serviced by a professional during our stay, a nice touch. Communication with the owner/manager was nothing short of amazing. They provide the most comprehensive guide for the house as well as local attractions and restaurants that we’ve ever seen. Jorge was also the best communicator we’ve ever dealt with. Almost instant responses to questions and was a helpful in every respect. 10 stars on a 5 point scale! Thanks for everything! We hope to return!

My family and I spent a week at the house and we cannot say enough nice things about the house and George, the owner, who was so responsive and pleasant. We loved the location of the house as it is close to the beach, all of the local stores and restaurants, and grocery stores. It is also very close to Duck, so we spent a day walking the boardwalk there. We had our dog with us, and there were so many places to walk. The pool and hot tub are very clean, along with the rest of the house. I have rented many vacation homes, and this is by far the best stocked kitchen. The pots and pans are great quality, and if you plan to cook, the house has everything you need to cook any type of meal. We will definitely return to the Dolphin Inn!

We had such a great stay at Dolphin Inn. Jorge communicated with us and was so helpful even before we got there. Check in was a breeze. The house was exactly as described and perfect for our three families to share for a week. Also - the house had absolutely every little thing you could need - beach chairs, umbrella, toys; fully stocked kitchen with any tools you might need; outlets set up everywhere. And everything labeled and accessible. If you want to feel like you are borrowing a friend’s home for the week, def stay here!

We caravanned fromMichigan with 2 other families and spent a week at the Dolphin Inn! The house was perfect for three families (10 kids and 6 adults) and we had sleep room to spare. The house had everything you needed to have a great time outside (pool, hot tub, volleyball court, play structure, etc) and inside (TVs everywhere, games, etc.) Host was always available and accommodating! Really had a great time and when the OBX comes calling again - this is where we are staying!
