About this chalet rental
Glenhaven is a beautiful 6-bedroom estate home with 2 bedroom guest suite above garage. The home is nestled in the mountains surrounding Lac Barron in Gore. This recently renovated property with stunning views and amazing windows is the perfect place to reconnect with nature and water, while enjoying luxurious amenities. Complete with a 3 season Tree House that is nestled in the trees and attached via a bridge to the main house. The tree house has a fireplace, screened in living room/bar and dining area. There is also a bunk house with a double and single bed where overflow guests can camp out in their own space during the summer months.
The Space:
Glenhaven offers a wonderful view of Lac Barron in Gore, Quebec. It was recently renovated to taste. The endless windows offer so much natural light and will have you in awe of the surrounding nature. With 3 floors offering one guest sweet on the main floor, 5 guest suites on the 3rd floor and a spa/gym on the ground floor with access to the hot tub on the deck. Glenhaven allows you to enjoy a stunning Wolf stove in the very spacious kitchen, a beautiful dining room with lake views, a wood burning fireplace in the living room, a full office space off the living room, a huge naturally lighted family room off the kitchen. The property offers private in-deck hot tub, private lake access with a dock. Canoe, kayaks, paddleboards available during summer months. The guest house above the garage is a 2-bedroom suite with full bathroom and open concept kitchen and den. Large deck to enjoy the garden.
Guest Access:
Our guests will have access to the entire house and guest house. All listed amenities are included, and more are available as requested. Our team will come by every few days to maintain the hot tub!
The Neighborhood:
The property is located on Scott Road in Gore. All properties are residential or long term rented, so it is very quiet and family friendly. Only 15 minutes away is the town of Lachute and Morin Heights where all necessary stores can be found, local cafes, bakeries, restaurants, and activities!
Getting Around:
The property is easily accessible, and the driveway is maintained for snow removal in the winter. Snowshoes are fun to bring as you can snowshoe on the lake during the winter months.

Absolutely fabulous completely equipped cozy and comfortable and the host is the most gracious person to deal with. In all an unforgettable getaway. I would highly recommend this property.

We couldn’t not be happier with our stay! What a beautiful cottage and property on Lac Barron. There was plenty of space for all 10 of us - every bedroom and bathroom was absolutely gorgeous. And the spa! From jumping in the lake to the hot tub, steam room and sauna we truly felt like we were staying at a luxury spa. Thank you to Tania the owner for her communication leading up to our stay. Everything was perfect and blew away our expectations. We will be back for sure!

We stayed at this cottage for one week over new’s year and we had a fantastic time. We are a family of 9 adults and we had 5 kids with us between ages 6 and 3 months. The place was perfect for all and very welcoming for kids with high chair, play pen, games and more. We enjoyed the hot tub and the steam room every day. What a treat. And the outdoors. We skated on the lake every day, we did cross country skiing, took long walks in our snow shoes and played in the snow for hours with the kids. We also skied at Morton heights and St-Sauveur which are only 20 min away. My only wish would be for a few double beds to be converted to queen beds as this would be more convenient for couples but it’s a small detail. We felt welcome and we loved our stay. Hoping to be back. Thank you !

We spent 4 nights at Jennifer’s cottage with two extended families in August 2019. The house and amenities are fantastic! I highly recommend this listing to anyone who is looking for a true getaway close to Montreal.
