Situated in Savannah Lakes Village near McCormick, S.C., this lakefront property is located on the pristine shores of Little River in the heart of Strom Thurmond Lake. Beautiful wildlife, fiery sunsets, and tranquil surroundings are part of the charm of this townhouse. Surrounded by 1200 miles of shoreline in the heart of Sumter National Forest visitors will enjoy fishing, boating, kayaking, golfing, and most of all relaxing. Walking trails located in the three nearby state parks affords opportunities to observe wildlife in their natural habitat.

The house was well equipped with plenty of kitchen items, so we didn’t have to pack extras—very convenient. All rooms, beds, and sleeping spaces were spacious and comfortable for our group. Located in a beautiful area, the house offered a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Tom, our host, always responded quickly to questions, both before booking and upon arrival. As an experienced home rental guest, I know hosts often use different services to maintain their properties. While the house is lovely, a few areas could use some maintenance, and perhaps it’s worth discussing cleaning details with the service handling turnovers between guests. There were no major issues; just small things like making sure all surfaces are wiped down and restocking toilet paper and paper towels for the next guests. These were easy for us to address with a quick clean-up and a run to Dollar General. Still, I realize that some guests might find these matters more troublesome. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return! Thank you for the wonderful view and comfortable accommodations.

Did not enjoy whirlpool tub. The knob to set the timer on tub was missing. There was also a problem with the wifi. We all had laptop computers and could only get on network once. Once you closed your computer, you could not get back on. Your cell phone, on the other hand, was able to connect. The smoke alarm in the ceiling in the kitchen area was hanging down and would go off with steam from cooking. We left as-is.
