About this cabin rental
This was one of the first school houses up the creek in New Castle, and the only one preserved. It is comfy and has a nice deck for a fantastic view up the creek to the sunlight ski resort. It has family style sleeping upstairs and a futon down.
We welcome you and your pets to our first rental on the Ranch, and have listed another rental called the OGWG (off grid with goats) for rent on vrbo as well!! 492452
We offer a fantastic kitchen for the chef in you and please text Mary if you are wanting for any kitchen items... We are centrally located to a plethora of activities, flop at the Cabin and get away from it all! X country ski and snow shoe on our ranch in the winter, or soak in the famous Glenwood Hot springs or the newer Iron Mountain pools, climb in Rifle, hunt in Section 42, go to the play, ski Sunlight, Vail or Aspen, all are close! Grab some board games, relax in the glider. Life is good. We welcome you with open arms to our world. It is unique and simple, and you will love it.

Check-in was super easy, and Mary was very responsive. It's literally out in the middle of no where, so there is zero cell signal, but the cabin has great WiFi. Great for star gazing. Just sky is full of stars. Highly recommend!

My children and I absolutely loved this cabin! My oldest loved the the location and views. My middle two said the cots were more comfortable than they looked and my youngest got many hours of fun using the stairs as the stage for many of his toy adventures! My two youngest especially enjoyed the ride up to the cabin. The host was more welcoming than any host I have met thus far and gave through instructions on how to get to the cabin (I needed them!). The cabin was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for a small family getaway. This is the perfect cabin for getting away from the daily hustle and bustle of life while still offering the option to join in on daily activities nearby. Thank you, Mary!
