The occasion we came together for was a somber one as we were there for my mother’s memorial service but this place provided a comfortable and perfectly located place with so much space. It gave us a place to come Together as family and spend quality time together and create lifelong memories with family we do not get to see very often because we live so far apart. Thank you for giving a place to grieve yet embrace one another. It was perfect for what we needed.

Super cool location! As you walk into the penthouse, the stairs are a bit challenging. Especially if you have heavy items. Once you’re upstairs, it’s very spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. But, it’s all in the details. Dining chairs are falling apart. In my opinion, the space shouldn’t advertise a pool table (no tips on the cues and no balls). The hot tub is not in working condition. The three bedrooms were ok, mattresses and pillows definitely need replaced. As for the 4th “bedroom”… it’s not really a bedroom. Twin beds that are way past their prime. No closet. It would be nice if there were fold up luggage racks to have somewhere to put your suitcase since there is no closet. Attention to these details would increase my rating of the Penthouse.

It was exactly what we needed- 6 guys on a motorcycle ride and right down town for the evening fun!! The place was very clean and very comfortable- will stay again!

This place was right in the downtown area. It is upstairs so it was a task to carry luggage, groceries, etc up them. There is seat lift but only for use for people if needed. There was no true dedicated parking but did say in the listing to use the on street parking which we did and never had a problem. The place was large and had plenty of room for us to spread out. The place could use some updates/upgrades. The lights over the bar area wouldn’t turn on. The instructions to use the theatre were hand written and didn’t work when we followed them. It took us 2 hours to get it to finally turn on and watch a movie. The pool table needs some attention/care (leveled, felt replaced, only 1 stick of 8 were usable). There were several bulbs out which I replaced using the bulbs I found in the property. Also the beds all funneled you to the middle and the pillows were super thin. End/coffee tables and chair arms were wobbly. Toilet paper holder in master bath and hall bathroom were broken off. Could of used more towels too but there was a washer/dryer that was available. It was a large space and we still enjoyed the property.

The place was so roomy! The kids loved the theater room. Bathrooms in bedrooms was a huge plus. It was a fun experience to stay on Main Street in a penthouse. The only complaint would be the entrance to the penthouse..

This was a nice sized place to stay for our family. There was plenty of space. The kids enjoyed the theater room. However, it took quite awhile to figure out how to watch movies. The instructions given weren't much help. We couldn't get any of the tv's to work. I wish there would have been soap in the showers. I wasn't aware I needed to bring my own. The location is right on main street, which was okay the first night we stayed there. The second night was a Friday. The bar across the street was playing really loud music until around 2am. Then around 1am, someone was jumping and running around on the roof right above our bedrooms. So, the location of this property is my biggest complaint.

The pictures do not do this place justice. My friends and I truly had the night of our lives here. I'm so thankful I found this place as it provided us with a unique and extremely impressive location/abundant beds/poker chips/ tvs in all the right places/pool table with sticks in good condition/etc... So many aspects of this place make it a completely unique and special place. I spent dozens of hours online looking at places throughout the entire region (at least within 2 hours of Montrose). I thought this seemed like a cool spot, but I was nervous about reserving it since I was responsible for 8 other people. I feel so fortunate I cancelled the smaller, 2x's the cost, high end condo I originally reserved in Telluride, because this really is a penthouse in downtown Montrose, which is not something that normally exists in a small mountain town lol. Everyone was blown away and it made me look like a brilliant planner. Part of me wants to keep it a secret, but I just appreciate the host too much and it was such a successful night, I have to rave about it.

This “house” is interesting. It is in an older building and remodeled to be a house but more like a huge apartment. Has some great features - the theater room (though had a bit of trouble with the DVD player stopping every so often but to be fair we didn’t alert the owner, also a lot of the kid dvds were just empty cases) that being said - the seating was super comfortable and the picture and sound were great! The pool table was fun to have and was used often. The kitchen was nice and functional. The bathrooms were a little dated but functional and large. The bedrooms were fine with the master bedroom being very large with a huge jacuzzi tub. The bedroom with the two twin beds was a little strange but for older kids or teens it would be fine. The stairs to the residence are steep and narrow which is typical for an older building - just something to be aware of. Overall the house was large and functional. If we need a place to stay while in Montrose we would stay there again. * Had an issue one night, texted the owner the next morning and it was handled promptly.

It's an old building in the seedy part of the main drag that needs work. Police right in front of the building dealing with some intoxicated individuals on 2 different occasions during our stay. The front door doesn't close and lock properly. 2 days before check-in, we receive an email telling us that the hot tub is not working. No window coverings on the dining room windows to block the sun. The back bedroom with bunkbeds is disgusting. No designated parking spaces. Way over priced for what you get in a questionable location. The kids did like the movie theater room. Won't be back...….obviously

Amazing!

Truly a one of a kind property that exceeded any and all expectations! Jennifer was extremely accommodating and a great hostess. I stayed there with my bridal party before my wedding and it provided the perfect place to get ready while also having easy access to all Montrose has to offer. Since it was a group of girls staying there one of the first things I was impressed with was plenty of towels and bathrooms- also a washer and dryer (which we didn't end up needing but it was great to know it was available). The privacy and security was also a major plus on top of the luxurious feel. We felt like we were in a luxury Telluride property right here in Montrose! I am looking forward to staying here again, wish I could give it even more stars!

This penthouse is Montrose's best secret getaway. The location is great and the size is perfect for any event. With four bedrooms, an amazing kitchen, and plenty of space to make anyone feel like they're home, this penthouse is perfect for any occasion. Either it be used for a birthday party (which is why we rented it), Bachelor/Bachelorette party, baby shower, or even for a romantic getaway, this penthouse is the place for you. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you may need for cooking for a crowd. There are multiple sofas and chairs for everyone to have a place to sit and enjoy. The pool table and theater room were awesome, they were definitely a highlight to our party! The views of downtown Montrose are wonderful and it was very quiet for being directly above traffic and Montrose's busy Main Street. The penthouse is located next to many local restaurants, shops, and parlors that any guest would enjoy. All in all this penthouse is worth every penny and it will definitely not be the last time we enjoy it!

We had a wonderful time at this property and wished we could have stayed longer! Great location right in the center of downtown and across from an amazing pizzeria and microbrewery. We used this as our home base for our Black Canyon explorations and it was great. Luxurious and well-stocked!

We did not really expect the space to be as huge as it was, or have as many amenities, nor be as comfortable as it was! Our stay was for a wedding, and we were there with our au pair and children aged 4, 3 and 8 months. It was enough space for everyone to have their own room to sleep in, and huge enough that noises didn't wake the baby (who slept AMAZING there). The location was wonderful, in the heart of old Montrose, and a quick half block to the main drag to get to everything else. Everything was clean, cozy, and the entire space was enormous. We had a great stay there, and we will definitely book again next time we are in Montrose.

Stayed for a quick stopover in Montrose and were AMAZED when we walked in, the space was so great we decided to order food in instead of eating out that night. Its very large, loved the decor, it has unique and modern appliances, all the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had a small group and limited time so didn't even utilize all the space, but really enjoyed our time. Thanks so much.

We had a group of 9 spend the night here enroute to a hut in the San Juans. The place is amazing- huge, clean, comfortable. There was plenty of space for everyone and we had a great time. Food and fun are both easy walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

Booked for a group of friends for my wedding and we thoroughly enjoyed this apartment! Close to everything (restaurants, bars, nail salon, church venue) and had TONS of room for everyone to gather and hang out. Fabulous, fully stocked kitchen with upgraded appliances. Washer/dryer, pool table, media/theater room, hot tub/steam shower, and great bedrooms. The bridal party all got ready here and there were bathrooms, plugs, mirrors and space enough for everyone. Very comfortable, welcoming and centrally located. Door does stick downstairs so make sure you get it closed or the entry code doesn't work. A beautiful space. Highly recommended!!

This home was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST !!!! One of my four daughters was getting married to a gentleman from Montrose, so we needed a place to stay for me, my wife, and my three other daughters, prior to and after the wedding. This place worked out perfectly. The downtown Montrose location was centrally located to all the places we needed to go to. It was really fun walking down the main street of Montrose, going shopping with all my daughters together, which hasn't happened in 17 years because they are all adults with families now. The penthouse is really a lot bigger and better than the pictures show. Everything is nicely done, clean, and really first class. I too have a VRBO RENTAL house in Oregon, and there is nothing Jenn and her family have not done to make our stay truly wonderful. If your coming to Montrose or the surrounding area's, this is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST !!!!!

We stayed at this wonderful condo on Main Street for our family vacation to the Black Canyon NP. If I used one word to describe the condo it would be ‘huge’. And huge is good when vacationing with your mother, sisters, and teenage kids. It’s large enough that everyone has their own space when need it. The theater room is very nice. My 18 year old son spent most of his time there and at the pool table. The kitchen is marvelous and the master bedroom/bathroom suite is to die for. I wish I had that shower at my house. I would rent this condo again and recommend it to all my friends visiting Montrose. There is a great coffee and bakery shop just steps from the front door. The pizza place across Main Street is very good and their salads are superb. Thank you Jenn for letting us rent your wonderful condo. We had a blast.
