Located in the Spanish Grant subdivision on the west end and direct beach access points, you will be an incredibly short walk to the beach. Moody Gardens is only six miles away for family entertainment and fun, and you will also be close to the Pleasure Pier.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Check-in was smooth and easy, the place may have needed some minor maintenance but was clean and well stocked, for the price it was definitely a value location was great! I would not have a problem recommending to a friend.

We [mom, dad, several children] recommend this home, period. Pricing is exorbitant, though probably comparable to the market: it is after all ON the beach & during peak season. Some note lack of updates: we have no problem with it being basically an early ‘70s museum; kind of interesting being so different from our own home. Could there be things to improve? Yes. Mgmt should address the following, but if they don’t, then…KITCHEN: bring your own cutting boards & knives; bring your own can opener [both the electric &manual ones were already broken]; bring dishwasher detergent [There was a “starter kit” for the dishwasher, but for only one use]. LAUNDRY: bring your own clothes washer detergent. Other similar rentals we have experienced in the past provided these, so this was a bit of an inconvenience to us. Again, previous places provided ample. BATHROOMS: could have used a bit more towel supply; toilet paper was ample but horribly cheap, especially in light of the rental price.AC: very cold, definitely appreciated; Kitchen has a very large counter, great for family, big groups. Lots of beds.WIFI: strong signal.Location is superb: only 10-15 minute drive to the main island action, but far away enough to have lots of privacy time and space on the beach; Ideal and far more “family-friendly location. We definitely recommend this place, would stay here again. It’s expensive & could use more supplies especially in context of the high price, but we give it thumbs-up

This home has great beach access and view, which is pretty important in a beach vacation. The home itself was fine. May be better for a couple and children. Not enough toilet paper, lol. The biggest issue was when the AC went out was 87 degrees inside and maintenance was not able to fix it. Had to sleep in a hot and humid home and could not open windows due to no screens. When they could not fix it they recommended for US to go buy a portable AC. This ruined our last evening and final breakfast in the home. Just a bad ending to the vacation. We know things happen, but when maintenance showed us the AC filter i can honestly say it may never have been changed. This makes us believe that the ac issue could have been avoided and the owner wasnt taking care of the property which also made me question the cleanliness of the home. May have appeared ok but really wasnt. Just gross! They did offer a small redund, but definitely not we thought was fair. They offered less then half a day. We thought one day was fair. We had to spend time to wait for maintenance and sleep in ahot humid house. We did not make our dinner that was planned and had to spend more to go out and throw out the food that was bought. Overall we had a good time. Just all that left a bad feeling and definetly wouldnt stay in this home again. Almost forgot. If you do choose to stay in the house, watch the stairs to the loft. They are alick. My husband slipped and feel down the stairs.

We LOVED the beach house! Very cute and cozy. It has everything you need. Dishes and cookware, towels, extra bed linens and pillows, beach toys, beach chairs, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, washer and dryer. It slept 6 adults and 3 kids very comfortably. The location was perfect! Very short walk to the beach, maybe 25-30 steps. Things to know: the grill is gas ( bring a lighter), the coffee maker uses ground coffee (no k-pods, filters are supplied). Bring extra garbage bags. 2 bags are supplied as well and only 1 laundry pod. Great place to make some lasting memories☀️🌊🐚 Overall⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Property needs updated. I saw many reviews from years past saying the same thing. Looks like nothing was done after the owmer posted it was. Nails sticki g from the deck and railing. My friend hurt herself on a nail. Wirk on updates.

The house is not terrible but certainly needs some love and attention. We could very much tell we were another number for a property management firm. There was no priority. We had to call for how to access the beach equipment. I also had to call for beach towels and waited 2 days for them. There was a number of cockroach visitors that we had to watch for which was very unsettling.

Very comfortable, clean, and fantastic location for a fly-in gymnastics' competition at Moody Gardens. Only suggestion would be to make bathroom and kitchen upgrades. Otherwise, we had a great time!

Was pleasantly surprised that the property listing and actual property were of the same quality. We stayed there for a couple of days at the end of December and it proved to be a great getaway for us. Clean property with minimal issues during stay. Would definitely look at coming back here again if they were pet friendly.

The view was exactly as pictured, beautiful. The area was quiet and clean. The house had a few maintenance issues, some ants and roaches, and we didn't get the code to the laundry room/grill until it was too late to use it. Overall we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the outdoor seating.

Great location. But there's multiple houses right next door that appear in better shape. House was pretty clean on arrival. We had several issues. The front door kept swinging open and took 2 days for maintenance to come fix. Then the ac stopped working, and that took a day and a half to fix. The main bedroom has a bathroom and the shower has a massive crack and leaks water thru and under the house onto the patio. Laundry room has a key code to get access to the lock box. Took 2 days to recieve that code to be able to do laundry for a full house. All in all, I don't recommend this property and I would book else where.

The location was unbeatable, just steps away from the beautiful sandy beach. The views from the deck were breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. The property itself was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The living area was cozy, perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun. We loved having access to nearby attractions, yet the property felt like a private oasis. Overall, this VRBO was the perfect getaway for a beach vacation. I can't wait to return!

Thank you for having us at your property! We were four adult women who took a girls trip and had a fantastic time. The location was amazing, we loved our morning walks and watching the sunset at night with our glass of wine. We felt like it was a good value for what we got, though the property does need a little bit of updating. We had plenty of fresh linens, but the mattresses left some to be desired. They seem to be old and flimsy unfortunately. We did have a problem with ants but we appreciated the raid that was left under the kitchen sink. The lock was a little wonky trying to get in. The plastic chairs on the patio need to be replaced soon a couple of them were cracked But we did appreciate the cooler to bring down to the beach. Overall, an excellent stay, The property had everything that we needed and once again the location. We loved Galveston Beach.!

The oven was broken, we could not make cookies, bisquits, casserole; or a birthday cake. TVs did not work for half of our booking. The exhast fan over the stove did not work. Nails sticking out of decking. Injured my foor. Lost a week of work. Vrbo and host are not taking it seriously. I will be contacting a lawyer for lost wages and medical bills.

Very nice location, very close to the beach and you almost have your own personal beach as not many people go to that area of the beach. Great location compared to town, far enough away to not have much traffic but close enough to still be able to go do things and not have to drive a long ways to get there. Had a problem with some ants and bugs in the house but after a hurricane went through the area im guessing that had something to do with the bugs going to higher ground. Would recommend this property to anyone who wants an ocean view and easy beach access every day. Very fun and look forward to visiting Galveston again.

Great location - but the code and door lock does not work. Had to use the lock box key after we finally got the code to get in. Front door door knob broken and had not been fixed. I noticed it other reviews. Comes off every time you try and go out. Oven broken, only top heating element works so you can't bake anything. Upstairs area very hot can not sleep up there. Bathroom shower very small and hard for adults to use in the hallway bathroom. Great location justs needs some things fixed. Grill is nasty dirty and did not work.

The house is nice and in a great location but Vacasa the management company was difficult to communicate with. There was a hurricane in Galveston 10 days before our booking and I couldn’t get information about the house condition. Many of the houses in the area were damaged. The house was in pretty good condition when we got there but we were never able to get into the laundry room where all the beach chairs and toys were. The oven did not work and there were damaged chairs on the porch. I spent hours trying to find out what the code was to the lockbox where the key to the laundry room with beach items were. The trash had not been picked up and was overflowing. The management company did not offer any concessions for the inconvenience. I will be reluctant to use a property managed by Vacasa again.

The view and location was great for us! But that was about it. The whole place is outdated and needs repairs. Various items are likely about to break. The front door was falling apart on the bottom. The beds were uncomfortable. The air was on but it was much warmer in certain rooms. A vent was above a bed and was dripping. The kitchen supplies were extremely outdated. It felt dirty inside. The bed and towels felt cheap and uncomfortable. The location on the water was perfect but I would not stay there again.

Very displeased with this stay. We got there on a Monday around lunch AC was not working, got told that afternoon after reaching out for someone to come see AC that we could no longer stay there due to AC unit being broken. Got all unpacked just to repack and drive 6 hours back home in the same day. All of this could have been resolved and not been a waste of our time if the house would have been fully checked prior to renting out to someone.

This house could not be in a better location. You are right on the beach. I have older kids and loved the fact I could hang out on the deck and watch the kids at the beach at the same time. We were so close I could even yell down to them and they could hear me. The beach was never crowded. It was only the people staying in the homes that would be down there. It’s also super close to town for driving to pleasure pier or Schlitterbahn. I have gone to Galveston many times over the last 10 years and this has to be my favorite location yet.

You absolutely cannot beat the location of this property. It was as described and had pretty much everything you need. The only problem we had was the lockbox to where the key for storage for the grill / other amenities (assuming washer and dryer) we could not get unlocked. Other than that, everything was awesome. Will be looking to stay at this property again.
