About this house rental
Want to get away? This 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom house will let you or a group of you and your guests get away! This house is located off of Main Street in Wells, NY. With the lake steps away. Come enjoy swimming, relaxing, hiking, skiing and much more only minutes away. A BBQ grill (the grill is propane and propane is NOT guaranteed to be provided. Please bring your own to ensure you have enough for your own use), patio table and fire pit are available for use. The house has DVD players in most rooms, bring movies! Towels, sheets, pots and pans are provided. Plan on grocery shopping prior to arriving in wells, the local store has limited food and hours. Welcome to our Lake House!
During the winter months the basement (two of the five bedrooms) have low heating conditions and we cannot accommodate more than six people comfortably unless you like the cold for sleeping and are more then welcome to the space for an additional price per person.

Heading north on route 30 from highway 90 take exit 27 Amsterdam and follow route 30 north for 45 minutes. Pass mayfield, northville and then as you arrive in the town of wells drive past the first left where the dam is and turn left when you see torts twist ice cream. We are before the Algonquin Motel.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house is very spacious and the host family welcoming. We would love to stay there again when we are in that area.

Great stay no problem with the home or the owners .
All TVs need to be update to 2000
No cable TV are in the late 50s .
DVD player are all from the 80 and don't work have the time .

My family and some close family friends visited in April to be nearby the path of totality for the 2024 Eclipse. We really enjoyed our time! The space was big and had lots of cute touches. You could feel the love that went into building it. We liked the summer-camp feel of the neighborhood and enjoyed taking walks around the house and walking to the lake. Theres also a convenience store within a few minutes walk away. The hosts were very helpful and kind. We definitely recommend for a larger family stay--plenty of space for everyone! Thanks for a wonderful home-base for us to enjoy the eclipse!

Excellent location and spot for our family vacation, loved the fact that they had everything in the . They took care of everything... Loved the master bathtub. Downside. The place had a bees nest which was a nuisance and scared the life outta my kids and 4 of the people were stung during our stay.
