The condo is quiet, private and very well provisioned. The hosts are very responsive to any problems and questions. The location is great. Loved our stay.

I knew as we walked in the place that we had chosen the right place for our California vacation. Everything was immaculate and in great shape. The refrigerator had some water and other refreshments as well as condiments. The cupboards were nicely stocked with about anything you could need while we were there. You could tell the owners went out of their way to make sure - everything was included. There was a ton of beach equipment and resources to enjoy the area to the fullest. There are plenty of extra pillows, linens and other supplies to handle all of our needs - and then some. One of the big upsides was the owners were very accessible and accommodating. They went out of their way to take care of us before, during and after our stay. We even tried to extend our stay, but the place was already booked after our stay. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it highly.

We really loved all of the small thoughtful touches throughout the condo. Especially coffee, olive oil, spices, and welcoming bottle of Prosecco. Beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean

Everything was done so very nicely to make our stay enjoyable. Owner provided many extra details and the place was immaculate.

The unit was very nice, with comfortable outdoor seating areas. Walk through golf course to beach was lovely. Owner was very responsive to questions. (During our stay, the fitness room was not open and the weather wasn't the best for hanging out at the pool, so those aspects were disappointing, but that doesn't take anything away from the unit itself.)

We traveled with our kids to visit many parks and wanted a central location. It worked out great and Fred, the owner, was amazing!!!

The unit is a lovely, clean and spacious 2bd/2ba condo with easy parking and great amenities. It is a short drive to a beautiful beach park called Salt Creek. Be sure to start your stay with a free trolley ride around the city of Dana Point, which you can catch at a nearby shopping center. The owner has done a marvelous job of providing area information on shopping, attractions, and hiking.

We were close to the pool, but it was not noisy. This was very convenient for us as we had a teenager. The little extras that were available, if we forgot something, was great! It was a short drive to most of the places we wanted to go. I would recommend this to others.

We had a nice time at this unit. The condo had everything that you would need for a stay with a family. Nice walk down to beach. Photos on website are accurate except the one of the ocean view. Not sure where on the property that was taken. Property owners were easy to work with. Well appointed and nicely updated unit.

Not sure about walking distance to Salt Creek Beach. A little far!

Very well appointed property with all the amenities a family would need. Very close to a beautiful beach, close to shopping and great restaurants. I felt very safe in the gates community the grounds and pool were well maintained. We had a wonderful time thank you!

Very user friendly condo that is well located. The host was very responsive and provided almost anything you needed for it to be a home away from home. Easy access to the ocean, shopping, eateries and a run up or down the coast to San Diego, Coronado, or LA. Condo could readily sleep four with privacy and 6 who are family/close friends. Kitchen was well appointed, pool and hot tube user friendly. Weather was the limiting factor during our stay. Did not expect 4 days of solid rain, wind and temps in the high 50s/low 60s but such is life in February. The work out area would benefit from some updated equipment.

Our family of 3 adults and 3 children found the condo roomy and clean. There were plenty of convenience items available that met our every need and the pool and hot tub were a plus. The location was ideal. Every place we planned to visit was close by. I would recommend this condo to adult couples or families with children.

This was a beautiful home, well laid out and comfortable! The privacy was wonderful, very clean and spacious! All the amenities of someone’s home! It was great! I would recommend it to anyone wanting to be close to the beach which had amazing sunsets to a trip to Disneyland, 30 minutes away! We loved it!

We stayed at this unit with 3 couples. It was nice that the living room/sleeper sofa felt a bit private for the 3rd couple. The location was fantastic and so close to the beach. The landscaping around the unit was beautiful. Our favorite part was the plants outside of the patio. They attracted hummingbirds and there were usually 3-4 hummingbirds hanging out on them at a time. Thanks for a great stay!

This lovely condo is a delight for the family. It is beautifully decorated and its utility room is stocked for a perfect day at the beach or on a hike. It is conveniently located in a gated community off of Ritz Pointe and is about a minute's walk from the clubhouse and pool. This is the second time we've rented this unit. The owner is readily available to answer questions about the condo or area. I would highly recommend this location for a great family getaway.

I have stayed at several properties in the Dana Point area over the past couple of years and I must say this property was the nicest and best equipped of all. The furnishings are first rate. It even provided just about every kind of beach related items one would ever need for an enjoyable day at the beach. The property is almost immediately adjacent to the Monarch Beach Golf Course, which is one of the nicest courses in the area. I look forward to staying at this property next year if it is available. From the very beginnings of communication with Fred, I have been happy with this vacation home experience. Fred was always very responsive, understanding, and flexible. The condo itself was, in a word, wonderful. The directions for getting into the home were very clear and access to all areas of the complex were provided. The pool/hot tub is only about 100 steps away and, even in a very busy time of year, it was never overly crowded. The work out facility is in the building next to the pool, but I think that average exercisers may be disappointed with it- there weren't even free weights. We ended up just running the trail from the condo down to the beach- the hills were an excellent work out. The trail is a bit hard to find- at least we found it to be. You have to walk down the big hill (the main road in the resort) to the area where there are single family homes and, once in that "neighborhood", take a left and walk almost all the way to the end of the street to find the access to the trail. From there, it's a beautiful 15 min. walk to the ocean through a very nice golf course. The condo was loaded to the hilt with anything a visiting family could ever want. We especially appreciated the laundry facilities complete with soap and dryer sheets, as well as the hampers in each closet. The ONLY small thing we found to be missing that might be good is a pizza slicer. :) Thank you for an absolutely wonderful stay- we will never forget the memories we made here as a family! (We also loved the goodies that were left! Thank you!)
