About this house rental
Kerrville River House Retreat! Fully renovated and remodeled with a Chic and modern amenities and high end appliances! Newly remodeled. With oversized pool, bocce ball court and large turf area.
4 bedroom-2.5 bathroom house on sitting on Guadalupe Riverfront. (Extra full bath located in the game room) Perfect for weekend get aways, girls weekends, guys weekend, couples, families, large groups and adventurers alike!
Approx 400 feet of Guadalupe River frontage with premier swimming, kayaking, and amazing fishing holes in the Kerrville, TX! Shallow entry into the river, reaching a deep swimming hole in the center of the river. Head right, towards "Bear Crossing" for great shallow river play and natural hot tub! Head left , for kayaking and a rope swing down river!
Outside:
- House sits in a quiet neighborhood, with a country feel, surrounded by trees and nature. Get your coffee ready and watch our family of deer graze the property at dawn. Lots of ducks on the river, frogs and fish galore. A true Riverhouse retreat in the middle of nature. Yet, it is minutes away from anything in Kerrville! Get your "glamping" on, with HEB, Starbucks, Antique Shopping, Wineries, Restaurants, all minutes away!
-Home is on 6 acres which includes part of the island across the river from the house. It is steps away from the river, with lots of land to explore. Perfect for littles and big kids alike! An easy 1-2 minute cleared trail walk to the river. Golf carts and UTV’s are welcome on the property (at your own risk).
- Parking for 4+ vehicles in front of house inside fenced-in circle driveway. More parking inside fenced yard for additional 5+ vehicles. Parking for 9+!

- Great kayaking and additional fishing opportunity just down river. Approx ½ mile trip downstream, with some small rapids, to Thompson Dr Bridge and another ¼ mile to City Pier for public pick-up/parking lot.

Perfect amount of room. Beautiful views and great location for our hunting trip. Had a minor issue with internet being unplugged and host responded quickly to help get it resolved.

Our family stayed here while in Kerrville for a Celebration of Life since it was close to the location of that event. We had 2 houses a couple hundred yards from each other so we didn't really use the kitchen much since we gathered at the other house more with all the family. However, this property was great for the younger kids in our family. They enjoyed the bocce ball on the lawn the outdoor space to play. My youngest grandson who is 2 especially enjoyed all the toys in the closet under the staircase. The property manager was very prompt with assisting us when we couldn't get the front door code to work. We recommend this location!

Overall, we had a wonderful time.
PLUSES
1. 2 1/2 Bathrooms well stocked with toilet paper and towels
2. Beautiful home with great decor throughout.
3. Sleeping space for two children on upper bunks and 10 adults other beds.
4. Plenty of dishware
5. Pool and hot tub were very clean, well maintained and a pleasure to use.
6. An abundance of outdoor seating in front and back
7. Lots of books and games
Minuses
1. Access instructions were given only 30 minutes before check in time and after my request for them. I expected to receive them at least 24 hours ahead of time.
2. King size bed was way too soft and sinks in the middle-should be replaced. One adult literally had to sleep on one of the bunks in the master.
3. The middle upstairs queen bed is also in need of replacement. It is not supportive.
4. I would strongly recommend a second deadbolt lock that can only be locked from the inside for your guests security.
5. Televisions in bedrooms, all seem to be more trouble to operate than they are worth. They are old and outdated and some do not have remotes and require a page full of instructions.
6. Not a single piece of silverware,was available.
7. Large water stain on second floor hallway.
8. Numerous kitchen items worn and need to be replaced, (potholders, pots and pans cleaning sponge, and scrubber).
9. Incorrect instructions refer to lifejackets in the pantry.
