The Islander Villas Community is on the west end of the island which has a much wider beach and is less crowded than the upper end. The Islander Villas community has a very nice ocean front pool club with pool, hot tub, kiddie pool, outdoor tiki bar all on the ocean front as well as 4 community tennis courts.
Ocean Isle Beach is a south facing barrier island with 7 miles of beach on the Atlantic Ocean, located 12 miles south of the NC/SC border. Ocean Isle Beach is a much quieter and less crowded island than areas like Myrtle Beach, etc. The beach is spectacular and is very wide and clean with a nice gentle slope. The island has a fishing pier, arcade, surf shops, restaurants, museum, ice cream parlor, mini golf course, bicycle, jet ski, kayak, boat and golf cart rentals. The backside of the island has quiet protected water great for kayaking.

Very nice place to stay. One of the very few places on that street with a view of the ocean from our first floor unit. Most other buildings had one building on the ocean blocking there view. Being a South facing property the sun barely got on the back porch which I like. Beautifully laid out unit with good accommodations. The pool is excellent with wonderful beach access by the pool.This was the nicest beach I have ever been to on the East coast. Not counting Gulf beaches as I need real waves. The ocean was warm which surprised me. The unit was well furnished and comfortable. Definitely will be back to Ocean Isle Beach.

The ocean side deck was amazing, with its ocean view and dog gate. Our golden retriever spent hours there, enjoying the breeze.

We love spending our winters at your condo in OIB. Could not ask for a better host than Cliff. The only thing I could add is to add a larger tv wall mounted in the living room and remove the large cabinet the tv is in. We are looking forward to next season already.

We had a nice stay and would definitely stay again. A few things we noticed is that we were responsible for renting linens this year - in the past, the linens were always provided. Also, the condo seemed to be a bit more run down than past condos we have stayed in. For example, the front door had black duct tape on it, the microwave was cracked around the top, and the closet door in the bedroom was broken. The living room furniture was pretty worn as well.
