About this house rental

Quaint A-frame with all wood floors and ceiling at the end of a private road in a quiet neighborhood. Screened-in porch and fire-pit/swing set overlooking the water. Play all day on the lake and take the secret trail to the park for a swim at the beach, or to unload your watercraft. (No wake between 7:00pm and 11am). Bring your fishing pole and leave your cares behind for a relaxing vacation close to home and without the stress of the "up-North" traffic.

This is a nice quality property that met our needs wonderfully. Very spacious for the four of us. Visiting in late November, we didn't make use of the lakeside location or outdoor firepit, but the living room fireplace was very easy to use and provided extra warmth and ambiance. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would love to explore what it has to offer in warmer weather

This house is in a great neighborhood, at the end of the street with an amazing view! The house itself is adorable, clean and spacious! The the swings outside around the fire pit were amazing. The stairs down to the lake were rough (not for the young ones! Haha!), but the view was worth it! My only suggestion would be to stock up on a few more cooking essentials like salt, etc. we had to buy several things, but left them for the next guests! :) The owner is quick to respond to messages and very kind! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again the next time we visited Michigan!

Located at the end of a private road, this Chalet is amazing. The property is beautiful, gently sloping down to the lake it also has direct access to trails through the State Park. The Chalet itself was spotless and well equipped with everything you could need. It made for a wonderful Thanksgiving for our family. Thanks Tim.

Unexpectantly, we lost a family member. We traveled across the state to honor the desire for my husband's parents to be buried together in Ortonville. With heavy hearts, we entered this home to find encouraging words and exceptionally clean surroundings. This is a stellar place of respite. Yesterday, we hosted a small gathering to honor my husband's mom. It was ideal for this meal together before several ventured home. Today, we walked to the park near the home and enjoyed the lovely views. What an amazing place to unwind and relax!

This home is so cute from the inside out. The host was very kind in answering any questions and even allowed an early check-in so I could decorate for the guest of honor. The outside area and view are amazing. The kitchen was small but for a weekend girl's trip, it allowed enough space for all. There was ample parking and the host stocked the house with all things you would need in a home away from home. Such a cute layout and I am sure a wonderful family getaway as well!

My husband and I are Florida residents that were happy to enjoy three weeks of perfect Michigan weather at the lake house. The swinging benches under the huge oak tree were our favorite spot to hang out. The large breezeway was a close second. Tried three of the many close by golf courses. Nice variety and reasonable green fees. We visited the adjoining State recreation park daily for walks and a better place to swim. Found nice dinner spots in Metamora, Lake Orion, and Goodrich. This rural residential area of Michigan is peaceful and beautiful. The welcoming and comfortable house was just right. Would return.

This was our second time staying here and we had just as great a time as before. The fire pit is a perfect spot for a small get together and access to the lake and nearby park make for some fun lake activities. The house itself is well kept and quite comfortable. The owner was quite friendly and made sure everything went well. Overall just a great place to stay.

Four cousins and I stayed for a Friday/Saturday night. Everything was clean and there was enough space to spread out. We enjoyed a brief dip in the lake and a long Saturday night on the swing benches chatting by a fire. Tim was very easy to communicate with regarding check-in and entry to the home. We didn't encounter any issues. Would return if we ever head back to the Michigan area.

This house is perfect!!! Very clean, beautiful and peaceful! We especially enjoyed sitting around the firepit talking and enjoying the beautiful view! There was 8 of us that stayed and there was plenty of room for all of us!! Definitely a house that I would stay at again! This was perfect. We are 2 childhood friends who grew up within a few miles of this location but moved away in different directions 40+ years ago. We came back to do a pilgrimage to the Hadley Hills Pinnacle & our Lutheran roots by visiting the cemetery on Cemetery Hill. We had a couple of daytime gatherings at the house prior to our trek. Everyone was impressed.

This was the perfect place for our annual family girl’s weekend, especially during the pandemic. Great accommodations, fishing and swimming. We were able to finally get together and enjoy each other’s company without worrying about infection.. bonus was the swings around the fire pit.

Five longtime friends spent a wonderful long weekend at this beautiful home. The home is nestled in trees on a hill over looking the lake. It was lovely to sit around the fire pit (wood is provided) swings and watch the sun sparkle on the lake. There was plenty of room for us to spread out. The kitchen is equipped with everything we needed. There are wooded trails near by and we enjoyed hiking each day. We would highly recommend staying here :)

Great house in a beautiful location. We loved the lake accessed both from on the property as well as from the nearby park. The house itself has beautiful woodwork and the interior felt comfortable and spacious. The fire pit with hanging swing benches was a favorite with the whole family.

This property was a fabulous way to unwind and enjoy a weekend with friends. The fire pit space was our favorite gathering spot each evening. We weren’t able to enjoy the all sports lake due to our short stay, but we did enjoy the peaceful relaxation of the dock. Would definitely book this property again if we are ever in the area

We had a wonderful weekend here with friends. A few of us are healthcare workers who just wanted some down time and this house did not disappoint. The owner was amazing with communication and no contact check in. The fireplace was great when we stayed temperatures outside were single digits so the fireplace was great to sit around all weekend. The views are beautiful the deer would walk right up to the back windows for us to see. Will have to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake. Thank you Tim for a great rental experience.

We had a great time connecting with our daughter and her husband from Detroit at the lake . It was close enough for them to come and go some days they had to work . Lovely private wooded setting . Great views of the water and gathered at outdoor firepit . We loved our time and plan to return !
