About this apartment rental
In the center of Venice, two minutes from the famous Rialto Bridge, the historic Campo San Polo and a wonderful fresh fruit, vegetable and fish market, you can nestle in an apartment full of light, beauty and silence, looking out on a little and entrancing campiello (square). It is ideal for a get-away for two.
THE APARTMENT : Recently renovated, the apartment of 60 square metres is in a building from the fifteenth century on the third floor. Not common in Venice, it is sunny and airy. The sun illuminates the principal rooms all day long, and the windows offer a lovely view of the rooftops of Venice.
It has a bedroom, a living room, a well-furnished kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and hairdryer, a washing machine and, in every room, heating and air conditioning.
WALKING AROUND : To get to the famous and enchanting San Marco Square, cross the Rialto Bridge and in only 5 minutes you will be there. On the way, discover Calle delle Mercerie where all the most beautiful shops and luxury boutiques are located.
In summer, take the waterbus/vaporetto (Line 1/Linea 1, San Silvestro stop) to get to the Lido for unforgettable days at the beach or a walk on the seaside or an aperitif along the Gran Viale.
If you are passionate about modern and contemporary art, the Galleria of Arte Contemporanea (Cà Pesaro) and the Prada Foundation (Cà Corner della Regina) are only a few steps away. The Pinault Foundation (Punta della Dogana and Palazzo Grassi) is also easily reachable. The Biennale is just a hop away by taking the waterbus/vaporetto (Line 1/Linea 1, San Silvestro stop).
If you love good food, you can taste the most delicious dishes in town by having breakfast, lunch and dinner in some excellent typical Venetian places that we have recommended to you in our guestbook. They all are only a few steps away.
Other details
City Tax – The Mayor of Venice has imposed a city tax for non-residents of 1.50 Euro per day (high season) or 0.75 Euro per day (low season). Children under 10 don’t pay. Maximum application: 5 days. The cash sum will be required upon arrival and a receipt will be given.
Additional Costs: In case of late arrival or departure, extra fees are applied (40 Euro after 8 P.M., 80 Euro after 11 P.M.). The final cleaning is 60 Euro. In case the keys are lost, 200 Euro will be charged for the replacement of the lock and keys. In case the keys are locked in the apartment, 60 Euro will be charged for the locksmith service (120 Euro from 8 P.M. to 8 A.M.).
Elevator: due to the historic age of the building, this service is not provided.

Please respect our neighbors by keeping the volume of the radio and TV down.
Due to the airy environment, please close the windows when you are out.
At the beginning and at the end of your stay, the state of the apartment and furnishings will be checked. In case of damage or loss, compensation will be required in equal value to substitute or repair the item, according to the rules of this web site.

My wife and I spent 3 days here in May. It’s a wonderful , clean and bright apartment in a wonderful quiet yet central neighbourhood. Luca is an amazing host, meeting us st the vaporetto stop and walking us to the apartment. He also was extremely helpful on our departure day as there was rotating taxi and train strikes that day across the country. Would highly recommend the apartment to anyone wanting a lovely experience in Venice!

What a lovely surprise. We had no idea that this would be so beautiful. Our host Luca has exquisite taste, the apartment is simply lovely. The location is perfect, about a 5 minute walk to the Rialto bridge and shops. Luca's brother Marco greeted us right off the water taxi and took us to the apartment. The quality of the bed, linens, dishes, etc. was unexpected and what a treat!!! Also, Luca very kindly helped us figure out (via text) how to best navigate the transportation for everything we wanted to do - so kind and responsive (again unexpected). We will definitely come back again and again and recommend this lovely spot to our friends and family.

We had a lovely time. We were there at the peak of the tourist season and although San Polo was busy it was not too crowded to enjoy. The location of the apartment was good for walking everywhere and exploring Venice. There is a local coop which was excellent for basic provisions ( but not English Tea). The apartment is well equipped and comfortable.
Luca was very considerate and contacted us after a few days to ask if everything was alright and ask if we needed any help or advice.
We had a wonderful holiday!
