Our guests often comment upon how much they feel at home while enjoying hospitality with a personal touch in a peaceful place where they can relax while comfortably settled in one of our spacious and cozy apartments . Each apartment has a distinctive style. Suite 100 is decorated with African and Animal-themed artwork and antiques, with comfortable sitting areas, a kitchen fitted with everything an average vacation would require and a palapa-shaded balcony open to the breeze.
Casa Gatos is in a quiet residential neighborhood that forms an island of calm surrounded by Yalku, Half Moon Bay and the Mangrove. We have arranged a free day at Yalku and a one-third discount for additional visits. Four resturants are a short walk from the house and six more are at Akumal Bay one mile up the shore road along with stores and two dive shops. In Akumal Pueblo across the highway, you will find more stores, restaurants and interesting murals decorating the houses and businesses.

This property is in a beautiful location between the lagoon and half moon bay. Walking distance to restaurants and a short drive to the convenient store. The hot tub was the only thing missing from the listing but we weren’t concerned about that. Overall it was amazing and we will go back again.

This is a great place for a couple or a family looking for a quiet and serene accommodation. It is tucked away by Yal Ku Laguna. The property is lovingly maintained by Dave and Dan who provide welcoming atmosphere They've been in Akumal for years, so they are well familiar with all the local activities. If you worry about safety this is the place for you because there's a federal police station right around the corner. This makes Akumal one of the safest places in the Yucatan.

this was a beautiful place to stay, lovely greenery as seen from our unit and especially from the porch. a great place to relax and enjoy the warmth of summer in the midst of winter up north. the hosts were very accomodating of our needs and very friendly. the unit (2nd floor) was lovely to be in. the "cenote" nearby was a great place to snorkel and view tropical fish. good restaurants nearby. only issue was that there is limited access to the beach, by going through a nearby hotel, with whom our hosts are friendly.

Dan and Dave are delightful hosts. They are incredibly welcoming and helpful. Their property is beautiful, it's in a wonderful location and was just perfect for our needs and desires. We look forward to coming back!
